There's always calls you want for your team but when you don't get them u gotta play thru it. As you said they did get frustrated with it. You could see it on their faces. If they'd been able to stay focused they may have tied it up. I know it's hard to do thou.

No excuses, Sarnia battled back after being down 3-0. Kudos on the big W.

Goldobin was real good. Hopefully your team can continue its good run.

Absolutely great game tonight boys, you never gave up. Sign of a great team. Just wait til everybody gets back from tournaments and then see what they can do! So glad London finally beaten, do not think there has been a sweeter win ever.

The Sting should be proud, very proud, in showing resilience to come from behind to end the Knights win streak. Goldobin is definitely taking advantage if the increased opportunity. As I've said before, Goldobin is a star in the making. His skill set is rare and it's a treat to watch his vision and playmaking abilities.

I really like this new defenseman, Patzinis, the team has added- a lot. Big addition for the Sting without having to give up anything. He's solid, can skate and has some offensive ability from the point.

The team has to be on a serious high after that game.

2013 ohl champions = London Knights. Or did Sarnia win it last night in January?

With Mapleleaf in your handle you should know better than to count your chickens before they hatch. The leafs win 5 games at the start of any year and the fans act like they won the Stanley Cup.Any given team can be beaten on any given night. No the Sting didnt win the OHL,they beat a London team who was missing 2 players while the Sting were missing 4 players to the worlds and U-17. Goldobin deeked the London defense out of their jock straps. Lots of time for other OHL teams to make some trades and load up also. This kind of comment will come back to haunt you for sure.

I think Goldobin has been playing NHL94 a lot lately, that move he pulled in OT (same one he pulled the night before for the 2nd sting goal) was the same move that won me a lot of those Sega Games! You guys have a hell of a player there!

Yes he is a potential star for sure.Just how far he has come from his first game is amazing.Igor Larinov keeps pulling the rabbits from his hat.Our whole team is playing better than most of us Sting fans have thought from the start of the year.I am very proud of the Boys. You have to be proud of your knights and their accomplishments so far also. What a great run. What a great 2 game new years series that was.Good Luck the rest of the year and we meet a few more times yet.

Goldobin honestly I didn't notice him much in the game. Then he makes that move in OT and that was the icing on the cake for the game for him. 4 goals and he wasn't flashy is what I'm getting at.

Sarnia took advantage of some poor coaching strategy on London's part. London laid back and the Sting skating the puck right into the zone and setup shop which resulted in a very solid come from behind win.

The Sarnia had control of the game 5 minutes into the second. London didn't stay aggressive like they did in the third on New Years Eve and the first yesterday.

Does anyone know how long Brodie Barrick is gone? I think he broke his foot, but not sure.

Heard he is out 8 weeks...said he fell down some stairs, but it sounds like the coaching staff doesn't believe him

I heard Barrick is out 4-6 weeks tops. I was in the hospital when he got casted and it was a fractured fibula. Not sure why JB would question how he did it? It is not like toboganning is against the law or against team rules, is it? I think there were a fair amount of Sting players on the hills. It would actually sound better if it were done toboganning as opposed to walking down stairs!!!! That just makes him sound like a klutz!

Either way, Knick Dawe has arrived in Sarnia to be the new back-up to JP? Any idea why they are not keeping Hergott?

This is more accurate. 4-6 weeks and a fractured fibula is what happened. Don't really know where 8 weeks came from because even 6 weeks is at the extreme end.

As far as Knick Dawe coming in to town to be the back up to JP as opposed to Hergott, I can only assume that was because Dawe has Tier II experience and is more OHL ready than Hergott would be. We can't forget that Hergott is only 16 years old and it would be quite a bit to expect of him to jump from Midget AAA (where he was playing this year) to playing even small minutes in the OHL.

8 weeks and a broken ankle comes straight from Jacques this morning, so feel free to take it up with him.

I deleted my previous post in response to Paul Owen in regards to his article, not because I feel what I said was wrong, but because out of respect for HF and the Sarnia Sting, I believe that an internet message board is not the place to engage in a debate on who is relaying correct information.

While I do not agree with what Paul wrote, it is not my place to determine what he writes, and how people should infer it. I stand by my previous posts however and can say with 110% confidence that a) Brodie Barrick unfortunately fractured his fibula (not ankle) on a set of stairs and b) the expected recovery period is 4 to 6 weeks.

And I can play a tape of the head coach and GM saying it's 8 weeks, so if you want to disagree with someone, I suggest it be him and not me.
