And Bettman/Batterman are lawyers and know the legal worthlessness of Disclaimer threat ,, They know they will easily defeat it in court so they aren't scared of it

@DarrenDreger: Some players are concerned the league is digging in post-disclaimer deadline. New vote about to begin. PA will use disclaimer if necessary.
If the PA goes ahead and votes on the disclaimer no more maybe we will use it maybe won't. No more negotiations, just get the mandate and file it. Otherwise it will be an idle threat, like last time.

The league seemed confident the players wouldn't file IF they were making progress. So they have been dragging their feet.

The owners would take the deal as it stands from the players right now. They have their 50%, contract limits and 10 year CBA. Everything else is filler. But they want to continue to stick it to the players. Just the leagues mentality. No matter. The players will find a way to get their money. And we will be back here in 8 years.

Need more than your recollection as evidence. I remember that it tapered down to a 50-50 split in like year 4.
He can't prove it. He just hates Fehr for doing his job. Makes a whole lot of sense. Some people just need somebody to blame.
More delusion. Even if this season gets cancelled some of you folks will somehow find a way to come to the conclusion that Fehr was just doing his job. The guy is a cancer to the entire process and many, many people have already paid a hefty price for his recklessness. I'm done with this until the NHL is back.

Fehr wasn't around for the last couple of lockouts, what happened there? His JOB is to get the PA the best possible deal. The deal has gotten better every step of the way. The names and cross hairs some of you put on the guy are hilarious. He is the face of the PA, he doesn't wield all this power.
