What would you do if the SC Finalists were your 2 favorite teams?

So let's say you're a fan of the Wild and the Rangers like me. What if they met in the Cup finals? Who would you root for?

I would want Minny to win since it'd be the franchise, and the state's first Stanley Cup win. I'm from Minnesota too. And knowing Sather could rob a team in the offseason to fill the hole that resulted in our defeat.

Cheered for Vancouver, but was still happy that Boston won.

They're both in the west, but I'd cheer for the Oilers over the Yotes any day

I like several teams, but only love one, so it'd be easy for me. Let's go Hawks! Well, when the lockout ends.

I would like to see the Avs win again though.

That nearly happened to me in '08 and '09, though I don't like the Wings anywhere near as much as the Pens. Anyway, they're my woman's favorite team and therefore we went to a bunch of the games each year.

If it was the Rangers vs Predators, I'm sorry, I'll always have a place in my heart for the Preds, I love the fans in Nashville, but it's no contest. The Rangers are the clear #1.

If it was Sharks vs Panthers I would no doubtingly root for the Panthers, but in any other situation would love to see the Sharks win a cup.

Yep this happened to me, infact all of my top 4 almost made it in 2011 to the conference finals (only Detroit missed, by one game)
But Vancouver and Boston were my favs.

Although I still like Boston, they aren't second anymore

I would probably start hating my second favorite team.

It already happened, actually. I was really, really, really pulling for a Hawks/Flyers Stanley Cup matchup, and obviously was stoked that Chicago won because they're my favorite team and Philly was just kinda/sorta a team I enjoyed rooting for. If Chicago went up against Buffalo now, then I'd also be stoked, but....

To inverse it, the Bears/Colts matchup suuuuuucked because the Bears lost, even though (at the risk of being one of those guys) the Colts were/are legitimately my AFC team. So....

.... if Buffalo beat Chicago, it would stink.

They are no longer your 2 favourite teams. The Bruins used to be my favourite Eastern team, but after what transpired in 2011, I can't say that anymore.

I'd punch myself in the face for having 2 favourite teams.

If anyone is like me they have a top team that no other squad can touch. That for me is the Blackhawks obviously.

But growing up, since the Hawks werent very good (ABC line :S, everyone leaving) I always seemed to find myself cheering for the Flyers.

But when they met in the finals, it wasnt even a question who I was cheering for.

anyone who likes two different teams should be beaten to death with their own leg.
