Add some minor picks where necessary.
As a Florida fan this is done so fast.

To Kings: Loui Eriksson

Maybe it's a skewed vision of mine but it looks like the Anaheim could use a 2nd great PMD more than a center and Dallas could be better served with a veteran PDM, not that Yandle doesn't qualify as a veteran but I have a weird feeling that Boyle would be better served in Dallas than Yandle. I also believe Boyle holds more value than hf gives him credit for. Outside of that tweak I think you were pretty close.
Sure you aren't a Kings fan?

Eriksson is awesome, and I could definitely see why you wouldn`t want to trade him, but purely positionally, having signed Jagr and Whitney in the off season, wing is an area of strength, and Dallas` defense could certainly use an infusion of talent. It may not be perfect, but for a 5-way trade, I think I met everyone`s needs.

San Jose upgrades their top-6(and I`m assuming that as a legitimate cup contender they can re-sign him).
Anaheim gets their much needed 2C(although it kind of hinges on Perry wanting to leave to a contender, slightly lowering his value to the Ducks)
Phoenix deals from a position of strength on both their roster and prospect pool to acquire a dangerous scoring threat whose defensive game would work well with Tippet, I think.
Dallas I mentioned above.
Los Angeles helps clear their backlog of centres(Kopitar-Richards-Carter-Toffoli-Loktionov with top-6 potential). I think Richards and Eriksson are similar calibre players, and the difference in value positionally is reversed in LA dur to their need for Wingers over centres.

Actually, have there been 3 team trades in the NHL. They're common in the NBA, but I can't think of any in the NHL
Most "3-way trades" in the NHL are actually two 2-way trades in quick succession. See the Quincey, Downie, 1st deal from last season.

Actual 3-way trades are very rare.

Should be more coming from Toronto, but works as a base I think.

More coming from Toronto? You mean more going to Toronto, right?

Or switch Krejci and Pleks.

How? Jimmy Howard is an excellent starting goaltender with the ability to play upwards to 60-70 games. The last thing Chicago needs is offense, what with Toews, Kane, Hossa, etc., and Leddy is behind guys like Seabrook, Keith, and others like that. I'm not a Hawks fan, as you probably could guess, but if it requires two players that are on a teams surplus to acquire a need, then heck, why would you not make the deal? I mean, Chicago with a proven starter is a sure cup run for the next 5+ years.
Q
Also, Perron, Polak, and Cole is a hard thing to give up all at once, but if that's all we have to give up for Weber, sign me up.

I'd like it a lot better if we had a little more defensive depth. Having 3 right-handed 1st pairing defensemen is a good problem to have, but we'd also only have two LHD.

except that jagr and whitney are expected to play 48 games AT BEST for the stars organization, if we even have a season. they're both 40+ and on contracts that are for a season that very well may never happen.

trading loui because we have jagr would be like trading malcolm subban and tuukka rask, because you have tim thomas.

I assume we ignore caps.

EDM: O'Reilly + Dumba + Zucker
CGY: Kesler
MIN: Yakupov + McGinn
COL: Bouwmeester
VAN: Heatley + Gagner

Edmonton gains Ryan O'Reilly, Jason Zucker and Matthew Dumba, loses Nail Yakupov and Sam Gagner. (Fills two major holes (2C & high-end D prospect), adds wing prospect, loses from position of depth)
Calgary gains Ryan Kesler, loses Jay Bouwmeester. (Top-line center, sacrifices defense)
Minnesota gains Nail Yakupov and Jamie McGinn, loses Matthew Dumba, Dany Heatley and Jason Zucker. (Gains elite forward & bottom-sixer, loses depth from prospect pool and top-six forward)
Colorado gains Jay Bouwmeester, loses Jamie McGinn and Ryan O'Reilly. (Solidifies defense, loses forward depth)
Vancouver gains Dany Heatley and Sam Gagner, loses Ryan Kesler. (Gagner for Kesler, Heatley goes with Sedins. Adds to Van offensive depth)

Chicago: Valtteri Filppula (great defensively solid 2nd line center)
Detroit: Roman Polak (their mostly needed physical defensive defenceman)
St. Louis: Fedor Tyutin (perfect left-handed pair for Pietrangelo)
Nashville: Niklas Hjalmarsson (poor man's Suter)
Columbus: Craig Smith (promising young center)

At this point I have to think Heatley is a worse offensive player than Kesler.

Nj: Strome
NYI: Neal
NYR: Couturier
Pitt: McDonough
Phi: Larsson

NYI get a winger to play with Tavares. Nj gets a real center. NYR get a shutdown center to play behind richards. Pitt gets a top pairing d-man to play with Letang. Phi gets a potential number 1

Yak's value is much lower now then what it will be. Like I said, purely hypothetical. And Coyle most likely will be a 2C.

I like this from and EDM POV because it addresses needs. But I don't see Van or CGY liking this.
