Anyone know if Adam Holwell is still well regarded for the draft? I know he's been playing in Ontario for the past couple of years, is he now supposed to be drafted in the OHL draft instead?
Unless his parents moved to Mississauga with him, I'd guess he's still Q property.

The tournament next week will be a deciding factor for the maritime kids, there is a ton of talent there. Just on a side note, I watched 4 games this year where CB West was playing and Colby Tower diden't play one shift on defence. He was playing either right wing or center.

Alex Jacobs and Nick Welsh are way too small. He won't go that early.
You mention Jacobs and Welsh. Those two could be considered the two most skilled 97 players coming out of Atlantic Canada. Jacobs is small but Welsh is average size, similar to Noel and bigger than Tower both on your top 18 list. Yes, Sprong should be on that list as well. Any others players that may be considered?

There is no way Arsenault should be on this list.. Larter is more well rounded IMO... And Deschenes is too high, as is Leblanc, and I also think both Roys are better than Noel... Other than that very solid list, i love Fournier, reminds me of Stefan the way he plays

Nick Welsh is a d-man... 5'9"-5'10" d-men are not the same as 5'9"-5'10" forwards.
Daniel Sprong to me is how some teams viewed Pepin last year. Top 5 talent? Yes. Top 5 attitude? Not so sure. It's just my opinion, I wouldn't touch him in this years draft with some of these other guys on the board. I know most would disagree but they can make their own list
A lot of people will disagree on Deschenes as well because that's the in style thing to do these days but I still see him going first round and being worth the pick, if he lands on a team with the right coaching. There seem to be a lot of Atlantic prospects that go from large hype to negative hype and still turn out to be solid Q players (Cormier, Duffy, Anthony, Lyle, etc.) He'll do well in the Q, he probably won't be the NHL star he was once projected to be but he's still going to be a solid Q player.

Trust me when I say this, Daniel Sprong does not have an attitude AT ALL.
I have no idea where this rumour started and began to follow him but its not deserved.
The kid works his ass off in every practice and does everything to make his teammates better.
Does he do everything right during games? No, he's lacking on the defence side but his offensive ability is limitless

O'Brien and Mann-Dixon are better goalies. Not too many goalies get drafted in the 1st round unless they are exceptional. NB and Nfld. have some good goalies too.

Again you guys are saying "This guy isn't a first rounder" but it isn't a mock draft. It's my favorite top 18 prospects. Don't pick one out of the group and say he doesn't deserve to be on my list lol if I want him in my top 18 he's gunna be in my top 18.

Not that it really matters, but it should at least be noted that McManaman is a '96. That kid is as strong as a bull, and hits like one too. His skating is subpar, and his footwork needs A LOT of work, but I could definetly see him being a 4/5/6 guy one day in the Q.
