Who wants to get the hell out of here and move about 1,000 miles south.

I love my job, but to hell with living in a place that sucks for 5 months a year.

I'd take a blizzard over any other natural disaster any day of the week.

People always say that until we get to March and the temperatures still don't get out of the 40's.

I moved here in April 2012 and the first day I woke up here, it snowed.

As long as you don't live in the Dust Bowl, near an Oceanic coast-line, or on the San Andreas fault you're just fine. My cousin just moved to Richmond, I am so jealous.

Exactly, people around here for some reason think March is a nice month, when it reality it's about as warm as mid to late november (aka, not) and actually typically still sees snow.

I'll admit I have a low tolerance for cold, heavy freezing winds, risking my life driving to and from work, having crappy roads, quickly deteriorating vehicles, several months with little to no sun, and months after months of 6:00pm sunsets.

Which is why this place sucks. No mas.

Having been through a couple of hurricanes and a tornado... damn ****ing skippy. I'll take snow over any of the others.

And over central Virginia summer humidity too.

Traffic congestion is like #75 of my "List of concerns when determining a desirable place to live".

Ideally, if I live in a place more urban (and less cold) I'd probably skip owning a car altogether. As much as I like cars, they're way too expensive compared to their utility.

Washington, DC (and the surrounding part of Virginia) has an awesome public transportation system that I would kill for. I can't believe so many people still choose to commute into that place. What a nightmare.

March is hit or miss. On my birthday last year (March 20), Clock and I took the baby for a walk for us to get ice cream. Clock was in shorts and a t-shirt and baby was in a onesie. 80+ degrees.

As a celebrater of St. Patty's Day, I can recall more than enough times where I was happy running around in jeans and a t-shirt. Alcohol may have been part of the reason why...

Of all the ways we could have chosen to destroy our planet, Global Warming may be the most pleasant (for us northerners).

Still, it's not happening fast enough for me. I'm one of those people that is perfectly comfortable in 85 degree weather and despise anything below 60.

I wouldn't mind a place like Seattle, but it's still a bit too cool for me. Although upon reading up on it, it appears the that the popular opinion of it constantly raining there is a myth.

Northern or central California would be super sweet.

Central California (Bay area) is my ultimate goal for a destination in a few years. Seattle was just kind of a stepping stone towards it. It's cool here (40's during the day), but it does rain all the time in the winter. There's zero rain in the summer, though.
