Although more than a half of the ones who wear snapbacks don't know a thing about the team. Maybe a few players but that's it. Atleast here.

Do the hockey fans in Lima look like these guys?

There's always "Heatley Town" in Kenya.

Was doing some backpacking through Europe and I met a fellow Nashville Predators fan in the Paris, France train station. After days of speaking broken french and getting the stink eye because of it, it was nice to sit down and talk some hockey. Cool dude.

A teenager wearing a Ducks hat at a Q game. The Maritimes tend to be dominated by fans of Original Six teams.

I actually have been staying in Lima twice a year since at least 2003 or 2004, so why do you say it's not the best town to stay the night in?

Because criminals are always drawn to where the money is.

Oh, and BTW man, Quito is a large city with a lot of different areas, so maybe the guy lives in a tough part.

This made the missus happy. She thought she was the only Wild fan in the UK.

Not really surprising to see NHL fans in Nottingham, but the variance of jerseys surprised me a bit.

I just saw a guy and his kid rocking team USA hockey jerseys in Alexandria, VA. Not super random, but I have been disappointed by the lack of hockey fans I've seen in DC/NoVA. Non-Caps gear is rare to begin with, let alone non-NHL hockey gear.

Sector 617 is a small, developing province on Mars. One of the locals was wearing a Sedin jersey. When I asked him about it, he made click and whirring noises that loosely translated to supporting family

First time I was in India back in 2002 it was the Cricket World Cup. Some guy asked me what sport we play in Canada and I said hockey. His eyes lit up and he said, "India's the best at hockey! We won gold last Olympics". Which is true. But I said, "No, *ice* hockey." He laughed and said, "We don't have ice in India. But if we did, we'd be the best."

True story.

Here in Charleston I've seen most of the popular Eastern teams, but I saw a couple of Kings caps after they won the Stanley Cup.

Since the lockout started, I've barely seen any NHL clothing. Maybe 20 items since September.
