It definitely looks like Orton/Sheamus at WM with the way SD just ended.

Orton/Sheamus vs. Show/Cesaro as main event. Orton is doing his finishing sequence but Cesaro dumps him to the outside but Orton gets control from outside. Orton goes to enter the ring but Sheamus tags himself in and takes over. Sheamus is setting up for the brogue kick on Cesaro but Orton runs in to take it away from Sheamus and hits the RKO. Orton and Sheamus stare each other down to close.

Same. I always watched both but until that point I was more of a WCW fan.

Even as an 8 year old I was like "What was that?!?" at the finger poke.

WWF just took off from that point on and was head and shoulders better.

I still watched both after that until WCW got bought but WWF definitely became my preference.

Jake Roberts has looked better than he has in a long time thanks to DDP and DDPYoga, and the next one to work with DDP is Scott Hall. Hopyfully DDP can help Scott Hall as well.

They made it too obvious about the Orton-Sheamus situation.

I don't really want Orton/Sheamus at Wrestlemania for the belt. I hope that it's just a regular feud.

Yep. I remember, I was 12 and used to be a huge WCW guy. Before that I still used to watch both because Raw would be on TSN on Tuesdays after school and Nitro would be on TSN on Wednesdays after school. I remember seeing the Fingerpoke of Doom and being confused and mad lol...probably because I took a liking to the Wolfpack after they split from the nWo.

After that point WWF became my preference. It had already started to go downhill when they blew it with Sting and pretty much killed Bret (huge Bret fan, favourite wrestler of all time).

If Orton's a heel, I don't mind. It's better than Ryback vs. Big Show.

Cena scores with Fruity Pebbles.

Quote:
John Cena is slated to be on the cover of four million boxes of Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles cereal this year. The Wrestling Observer reports that Cena will be replacing mainstay Fred Flinstone. Cena began appearing on boxes last year following jokes by The Rock on WWE television.

Here's more from the earlier reports of the double show appearance from the shield and team hell no & Ryback about a week ago.

Quote:
As reported on earlier, WWE had Ryback, Team Hell No (Kane and Daniel Bryan) and all members of The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) work both the 12/26 WWE live events in Detroit and Chicago the same day.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that after they worked the opening match in Detroit, they rushed for a flight to Chicago and were delayed due to bad weather. This forced WWE to stall the show in Chicago including having Wade Barrett wrestle three times.

The way it played out was Barrett worked a triple threat with Kofi Kingston and Alberto Del Rio. When they began setting up the Steel Cage for Big Show vs. Sheamus, they got word the flight was delayed and took down the cage. Barrett then came back out and challenged Kingston to a match. Barrett then continued to stall calling anyone out from the back and had a match with Ted DiBiase. They also had Big Show vs. Sheamus run a bit longer to give Ryback, Kane, Bryan and The Shield time to arrive. It was described as being very close as they had Matt Striker announce to the audience that one match was still remaining following Big Show vs. Sheamus.

The Rock

for WrestleMania 29. I didn't completely buy it though, because of the source alone, until I read The Rock's interview from this week about WrestleMania 29...

Quote:
"The storyline will be that starting this coming Monday, I’m gonna go back, and it’s going to be a big return," Rock said, per a Showrenity.com recap.

"That will lead to, hopefully, what will be the biggest WrestleMania of all time at Giants Stadium. I will headline that show, with someone who I can’t say right now."
I may be reading too much into it, but that comment alone makes me believe it even more.

I'm way cool with this as it would imply no Triple H vs Brock / Cena vs Rock.
I was thinking they were going the direction of Cena vs Rock, HHH vs Lesnar, Taker vs Punk.

Where's all this Punk-HHH speculation coming from?

Not speculation, just spitballing. I'd prefer Punk/HHH > Punk/Taker. I don't want to see Punk/Taker.

Tomorrow feels like the kick off to WrestleMania, even though that is usually the night after the Rumble. Feels good to have live wrestling back, and Rock back on Raw for the next three months. Lets hope for the best guys, I'm ready!

I'm looking forward to tonight and all the rumors about the show supposedly saying it will "get people talking" and all that. We know Rocky will be there and with the recent report provided above, that adds a whole new element to the show, if true.
