Canucks have 2 Art Ross winners, a consistent 30 goal scorer, and a guy who has broken 40................

They all suck at shootouts.

Definetly Stoll for LA. He went 9/10 in 2010-2011

I'm probably wrong about a lot of these because there's a lot of guys who seem like they should be good in the shoot out but aren't, hard to tell unless you really watch the teams. Like people saying Gagner... he hasn't really been effective in the shootout for the past few seasons, I think goalies figured him out.. Anyways :

Anaheim Ducks : Bobby Ryan
Boston Bruins : Seguin
Buffalo Sabres : Vanek
Calgary Flames : Tanguay
Carolina Hurricanes : Skinner
Chicago Blackhawks : Kane
Colorado Avalanche : Hejduk
Columbus Blue Jackets : Prospal
Dallas Stars : Benn
Detroit Red Wings : Datsyuk
Edmonton Oilers : Eberle
Florida Panthers : Weiss
Los Angeles Kings : Stoll
Minnesota Wild : Cullen
Montreal Canadiens : Plekanec?
Nashville Predators : S.Kostitsyn
New Jersey Devils : Kovalchuk
New York Islanders : Neilsen
New York Rangers : Richards
Philadelphia Flyers : Giroux
Phoenix Coyotes : Vrbata
Pittsburgh Penguins : Crosby
Ottawa Senators : Spezza
San Jose Sharks : Pavelski
St Louis Blues : Perron
Tampa Bay Lightning : St.Louis
Toronto Maple Leafs : Kessel
Vancouver Canucks : Burrows
Washington Capitals : Riberio
Winnipeg Jets : Wheeler

And then they traded away Hodgson. :C

Our only good shooters are Burrows - because somehow the fake-to-backhand works so often - and Edler who can shoot hard and doesn`t try moves he can`t pull off.

To be honest, as a bolts fan if I had to choose one player on the bolts to shoot in a shoot out......I'd choose Hedman, and I'm not even joking. St.Louis and Stamkos while they are much better than Hedman is currently, they both suck in shootouts.

for the Canucks

Burrows
Raymond
Edler

then it goes Lappy, maybe kesler. Followed by every other player (including alberts) except the sedins. Maybe AV hates them,
maybe...

It's Burrows for the Canucks. No question. You guys should stop puting down the Sedins, they usually don't partake in shoot-outs (they try to pass it at the end because they only want assists).

Question about Pittsburgh: do Malkin or Letang enter into the conversation here? Or is it Crosby no questions?

Kane has more creativity for sure, but Toews is very solid at shootouts. As mentioned before he goes 5 hold basically every time, but seems to change up how he gets there. Tough call for the Hawks. One things for sure though, definitely NOT Sharp.

It's amazing that Gaborik has become our best shootout player (not counting Nash, I don't know if he's good or not). He was terrible with us and Minnesota. All of a sudden he used a number of moves last year and scored at like a 50% rate.

not sure if serious...not among the top 10 for shootouts. He is famous for missing on breakaways...

Raymond is pretty good at shootouts. Burrows has 1 move, but it usually works. Because there's no shin guards to hit, Edler is good too.
