The Cats don't have an area that needs to be filled as bad as the Titan though...
As you know I like the Cats current roster over the current Titan (most do) and there's no real good options on D this year without burning an OA spot... And even then your best option is Gagnon. Of there's one player the Titan don't need, it's Gagnon.
I wouldn't write off PEI (I know you didn't) because their OA's can take the to #2 in the division if they don't sell (unlikely)
IMO the Titan and Rocket aren't built for this year... Too much termoil in Bathurst and not enough depth in PEI... When you trade two 2nds and a 5th for a guy, give him the C, only to take it away from him in 10 games is bad. Then he asks for a trade... All the while the coaching issue in Bathurst is very big.
Well Bathurst are on a 3 game loosing streak and are 3-6-1 in their last 10 games. So kind of hard to argue they're ahead of Moncton, for the few that have.
Halifax
Moncton
PEI
Saint John/Bathurst
Cape Breton

i'm not a fan of the wildcats, i'm sure you have figured that much, but i do try to be fair in judging/evaluating teams. i dont think i ever said anywhere that bathurst would finish ahead of moncton (i hope i didnt!) but i know i said on more than one occassion that moncton was not as good as some people are making them out to be. (i'm just making sure you know where i stood)
what i really want to say is ..... did he really say in the past few days that Bathurst would still finish ahead of moncton !!!!! I will go to church everyday all summer if bathurst finish ahead of moncton!
i'm assuming Dubeau can come back sooner rather than later, and, he was playing great for 8-10 games. There is no goaltending issues if he comes back healthy.
Bathurst have issues on defense, up front, behind the bench and in the room.
i think he needs to check his stories before making more predictions!!!

He sure did and my post was intended for him. Scroll five posts up. Davis quit this week too.
I'm surprised Saint John is still at a .500 winning record. I suspect that will drop drastically as Huberdeau goes to play for Canada. A winless Christmas? Although, I do like Oliver Leblanc, a young defenseman for Saint John.
Standings anyways are like
Halifax -49pts
Moncton -40pts
PEI -36pts
Saint John -28pts
Bathurst -27pts
Cape Breton -20pts
Decided to give it an update... Will update again after trades are made. Also, I opted not to do the write-ups, because I think most know about the teams already.
I think you're a little high on both Barveshev and Jaskin as you see him as productive immediately as Hrivik at his peak.
Your total D including Gormley with 10 scored 28 goals last season and you are predicting 48 this season....quite the jump.
A lot of Moncton fans on different boards did not even predict Penny playing on the 2nd line and yet you predict him 23 goals....quite a stretch from 11 last season.
Wasn't Stephens cut?
Johnston scored 2 goals in 38 games last season....11 really?
And will Saulnier jump from 30 to 40 goals?
A lot of criticism has been put on my predictions about the Titan but some predictions in here are much more frivolous.
So Stephens is a rookie who did not play last season and you see 8 goals for him....it could very well 0-4 like a lot of rookies.
Johnston is a stretch as quite a few do not see him anywhere but 4th liner.
Your Euros will miss 3-4 weeks of hockey for intenational competitions and you see them above 30 goals in their first season....give them a break please when we all know what kind of defensive game Flynn is proposing to his players.
And your D you can cut at least 10-15 goals there as Gormley scored 10 of 28 goals lastseason in about 26 games.
Your team will not have a good scoring 3rd line as your offensive depth is limited.
I expect the Wildcats to trade for 1 or 2 forwards at the deadline.
Jaskin needs 7 goals in his last 30 to make it to 30
Since he's averaging .74 gpg I think it's pretty safe
This division has gone pretty much as expected through the first 50 or so games. Don't think it's going to change much in the next 18. At the start of the year I predicted PEI would finish behind Bathurst. Both Bathurst and PEI have surprised me this year in different ways. I don't think anyone would've predicted Currie to have the 20yo season he's had.
I do expect Cape Breton to win a couple more games once their top line of Culek - Farrell - Carrier are back. All 3 of them are hurt right now.
