Can you imagine the US game had Subban not been blocked as much or they didn't seem too flat in the 1st?

Canadabros need to stop complaining about others being classless. You give Don Cherry TV time, tons of people tweeting racist **** about Subban, all of that stupid controversy over Montreal's coach not speaking French.

Give it up, nice guys. You're not so nice.

Yea, Rielly had support from the 3rd defender... Who the hell was supporting him? He pinched in to get the puck, missed it and had his winger come barring down on Murphy who let him walk by while another Russian was crashing in and Rielly had to try and make a move to do something when it was too late.

Take your ****ing homer glasses off.
It looked to me like the passing lane to the other Russian wasn't available, hence the move to the outside (which went uncontested entirely). Perhaps I should have been more clear, however, as I think Rielly is partially to blame, since his pinch failed. I was trying to say it wasnt a particularly bad pinch when he went to make it, and if he had any other d partner the play likely would not have resulted in a goal.

Just my two cents, but I don't think that is the result of homer glasses. You should calm down, though. No point in getting so worked up.

Russia will have a couple of key guys back though, Vasilevsky will probably return and Nikushkin will too, and he'll be a tank by then.
I think it would be a mistake not to bring them back, to be honest.

Funny that even the "25 year old" Grigorenko can be back next year.

As for Murphy, he should be converted to 4th line forward + PP QB. His play in his own zone is beyond terrible.

The fact that you can call these 19 year olds "kids" is an indication of what's wrong with our society.

You make them sound like they are 8 years old.

When you play under your national flag in an international tournament, you should show some class.

Especially at the end of a tournament because it is a "p---y" move because you don't have to answer the music.

Old Yakov Schmirnov there should have been spitting his teeth all over the Kremlin for taunting Canada.

I guess you could say that the Russians are at least classless towards us. We're classless only towards ourselves.

Did I paint all of you that way? I don't recall saying all American posters are mouthy. Just said the mouthy ones are turning me off.

We have our share of 'em too, not a big deal.

Didn't even watch, completely forgot about this game and just as I was about to close my browser I clicked the tab with TSN open and saw this pop up Oh Canada, a lockout year and no medal Complete abomination and joke of a performance this year, with very poor coaching. Spott should have a restraining order with Hockey Canada after this.

It'll be nice when we have a new group coming in next year. Get this group out of here. 2012 and 2013 were both big time underachievers and disappointing to watch.

Bring back Brent Sutter, or at least have someone like Dale Hunter coach.

You know what's weird...it's a lockout season. Coaches are locked out too. Canada could have likely had their pick from the best coaches in the world. Could have chosen one, and kept Spott as an assistant in case the lockout did break unexpectedly. Heh.

His game is probably more suited to the NHL than Drouin's, to be honest. Guys like Thornton, Lecavalier, and Nash made the team in their draft years and didn't see much ice time either.

Never like to see the taunting and never like the sweater tug after the goal the Canadians do more than anybody else and I wish someday a coach or a captain would put a stop to it. Score your goal, ass grab your teammates and then skate to the center ice dot.

Congrats to Russia on the win. Lets hope Hockey Canada gets back to basics next year and enough of the gimmicks and capes, heat lamps and psychobabble. Bring skates, sticks and pucks and play the freakin game.

What does that make the Swedish posters then?

before the tournament started, at the selection camp, Spott said that Nathan MacKinnon is a very dynamic person and can be slotted in anywhere. Obviously this meant to put him on the fourth line with no scoring partners. Drouin got first and second line minutes because, ironically, is not as well rounded as McKinnon.
