Oh for sure, I just think that there's a great chance that both Rielly and Reinheart are in the NHL next year.

Spott should have a restraining order with Hockey Canada after this.

It'll be nice when we have a new group coming in next year. Get this group out of here. 2012 and 2013 were both big time underachievers and disappointing to watch.

Bring back Brent Sutter, or at least have someone like Dale Hunter coach.
Do Canada even have any good 1994'ers, no 94 in this tournament...where are they?

Does anyone else remember Don Cherry reading the list of WJC eligible NHLers following the loss in the 2010 final?

I hate to say it, but I think Spott's decision to start Binnington basically cost Canada the game.

You can't just gift opponents 2 weak goals like that.

I still think Canada is the best team in this tournament, but in a single game elimination, anything can happen, much like NCAA March Madness, and any of the top 4 teams are capable of beating any other team on any single day.

Could a coach employed by an NHL team interact with the NHL roster players?

You seriously think those are NHL quality defencemen? Hell, will anybody on team Canada be an NHL-quality defenceman 10 months from now?

Probably the effect of the lockout, 94ers got the short end of the stick against the 93ers.

That's the real indication of talent, not short international tournaments.
Haha, yeah, it is not like its much easier för North americans to get picked?

Canada has never beaten Russia twice in one tournament. I know they don't always play twice but still found that an odd stat.

Spott made questionable decisions all tournament long. It's probably in Canada's best interests never to let this guy near their national teams again.

3 94 born players. 3rd string goalie and 2 d-men. All the rest 93 born players except for 2 95 born players Mackinnon and Drouin.

There are good 94 born players that Canada didn't take because Hockey Canada believes this is a tournament for 19 year old players. i.e. Age trumps skill. Hopefully Hockey Canada now rethinks that philosophy. It's been debunked. The U20 Tournament is a tournament of skill not age.

It's an NHL Network joke. They run four commercials on a loop during the intermissions, over and over and over. One of them is about youth hockey.

Who thought Binnington would crumble so quickly though? He had a great camp and looked pretty good in relief of Subban. Can't blame Spott for that move, most people agreed with it, if not all.

Well, the pronunciation might make it a bit harder, but it's quite easy to call a name on a podium.

No 94 forwards. If you look at the 12' draft, the first 7 canadians were all D-men, the first forward was tom wilson, and he will probably be a boone jenner type guy next year. Where are the highly skilled offensive forwards?
