Collberg saw more PK time on that USA PP than Gally saw PP time.

Now Alex misses the net on a premium chance.

damn. chenyuk just misses.

Is it just me or are his teammates really opposed to the idea of giving him the puck?

That sequence 2 minutes ago that looked dangerous...in Sarnia, I think he just attacks down the middle. In this tourney, he goes on LW and the play turns into nothing.

He's clearly not at ease on the wings though isn't where he mostly plays in Sarnia? Does he has more liberty there than for the US? 'Cause I often see him not well positioned. Doesn't seem to be able to catch the open spots even if he doesn't get the puck...he's not often in a position to get it.

Great chance by Collberg but Gibson is in net.

Seems like he's more comfortable in the center of the ice

That's what That often writes...Boucher and Sarault basically just let him go where he wants, which is typically right in the center of the ice.

Awards:
Shawn Wilken ‏@GalchenyukWatch
1st period: 5 shifts - 4:16 TOI. ES - 3:16, PP - 1:00. Fired one shot wide. Made a few nice passes and a two that missed their mark.

Lindholm can't get it to Collberg on a 2 on 1.

any way Galchenyuk's injured? He just seems a little too casual out there.

Lundstrom gives up a stinker to Grimaldi. 1-1.

Not sure where anybody gets that Galchenyuk is a poor skater, I find he is well above average, he isn't always at full speed but has good acceleration and quick change of direction. He is more the type to let the game come to him than a "chicken with it's head cut off".

Collberg couldn't catch up in time, something is wrong, never seen him skate as slow as he does in this tournament.

Grimaldi with the tip.

Grimaldi has a horseshoe up his ass, both goals were unbelieveably lucky.

Kuraly actually has a good shift but the puck won't bounce for Gally.

ha! Seth Jones' dad is Popeye Jones? That's awesome. Good rebounder from what I remember.

I just want to know why Kuraly insists on shooting the puck on net when entering the zone no matter the distance and angle.
