67 pt average. As someone already mentioned he was the #1 center on the Bruins Cup winning team. Gardiner is ok but not proven yet and not worth Krejci. Kadri is very close to being labeled a bust. Kulemin is a 3rd line grinder, who collapsed from 30 goals to 7. I'm not ready to label him a 1yr wonder, but this season is going to be very telling for Kulemin, either he scores again, or he's permanently a 3rd line grinder. Either way, not worth Krejci. Quantity for quality. Boston's says no.

To BOS: Subban Vanek
To TOR: Krejci Miller
To BUF: Michalek Horton
To OTT: Kessel Plekanec
To MTL: Gardiner Turris

Boston gets young dman stud in Subban, and a high scoring wing in Vanek (albeit overpaid).
Toronto gets #1 center, #1 goalie
Buffalo with their newly drafted centers, get a couple of veteran but young top-6 wingers, while unloading lots of salary in Miller and Vanek. Enroth becomes starter.
Ottawa gets legit #2 center to play behind Spezza, and Kessel gives Spezza one of the leagues top snipers.
Montreal goes the youth route. Turris will grow into a top-6 center role and gives the Habs a solid 1-2 punch in the next few seasons. Gardiner steps in and replaces Subban at a cheaper salary.

This is very well thought out and looks pretty decent to me...............except Montreal fans probably won't like it.

Subban > Gardiner
Plekanec > Turris

...Makes no sense for Montreal. They could easily get better value shopping either player individually. Personally I think Gardiner + Turris would be about fair value for Subban alone.

Don't the Leafs need that "1C" to actually play with Kessel? This trade makes no sense for Toronto, patch two holes in net and the C position and create another two on the blue line and the RW

This is really bad.

horrible for Montreal and Buffalo
amazing for Ottawa
even value for Toronto and Boston

Enroth would be the worst starter in the NHL if this happened.

Kessel + Plekanec >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Michalek + Turris

They've since added JVR. He in essence replaces Kessel. Reilly will step in and replace Gardiner. In Miller Toronto instantly has one of the leagues best starters. Leafs hardly lose this trade.

Lupul Krejci JVR
Kulemin Grabovski Mac Arthur
Kadri Colborne Biggs

Phaneuf Reilly
Gunnarson Liles

Miller

Perhaps cap space is a factor to consider

...I don't actually hate that. I thought I would hate it because I LOVE Kessel and Gards...but that line up doesn't look too shabby.

To Toronto: David Krejci
Finally get their #1 Centre to play with Kessel and Lupul

To Buffalo: Milan Michalek
Very talented RW/LW to play on top line, cheaper than Vanek.

To Boston: P.K. Subban
Young future franchise D, play with his brother.

To Montreal: Thomas Vanek
high goal scorer.

Flame away
as a habs fan i love subban but i prefer vanek

With Krejci and Grabo Toronto would have two capable top-6 centers. And world class goaltending in Miller. Wingers and mid-pairing dmen are easier to acquire in free agency. Try acquiring a #1 center and starting goalie via free agency.

Again what's with Nashville giving up the best players. We gave up Weber AND Smith Hannan and gill. And we only get back Krownwall and 2nd pairing/liners. Where's Kane Toews, Pie or Zetterberg.

While I admire his determination in believing his illness won't affect his career, I can't see including Harding in any trade for the next while.

To Phoenix: Stoll, Ryder
To Dallas: Rundblad, Handzus
To Anaheim: Moss, Pavelski, Dallas 2013 1st, LA 2013 2nd
To Los Angeles: Torres, Demers, Phoenix 2013 3rd
To San Jose: Perry

From Phoenix: Rundblad, Moss, Torres, 2013 3rd
From Dallas: Ryder, 2013 1st
From Anaheim: Perry
From Los Angeles: Stoll, 2013 2nd
From San Jose: Demers, Handzus, Pavelski

Tried to make something good for all the teams and meet some needs. Not sure that LA or San Jose say yes because I kinda take out their center depth and not sure if Anaheim would be ok with getting picks back rather than players. Overall I think it's pretty close value.

I think San Jose would need more Pavelski and Demers are very underrated. Also I don't think Stoll and a 2nd are worh Demers and a 3rd.

But I doubt JVR will be able to replace Kessel's offensive numbers and have same chemistry Phil had with Lupul who also had career year playing aside each other. Burke will not trade Kessel unless he's targeting Perry or Getzlaf. As good as JVR can be but given with his injuries it would be a downgrade and risky move to put him on the top linein place of Kessel. Reilly is still a year or two away from making the Leafs roster, no need to rush him or he'll just turn into Luke Schenn 2.0

You could be right about LA, I may need to find a way to add a bit for them, possibly for San Jose also but it would take some smaller pieces to make it happen. Also I like Pavelski and Demers a ton, Perry is pretty good value for the 2, but because they lose Handzus I may need to add to them a bit as well. I may have not had Phoenix give up enough, I'll have to re-evaluate them.

Removing the useless pieces, this boils down to (from Chicago's perspective):

Hjalmarsson, Chicago's 1st, Chicago's 3rd for C. Smith, Columbus 2nd.. I'd pass. Let Nashville keep C. Smith, give Columbus' 2nd to Nashville and send Filppula Chicago's way and it's much better.

La says no to this no offense to demers or torres. The kings have 6 lws already on the roster ( brown penner gagne clifford king richardson) no need for a 7th. Also kings have 7 defenseman with hickey and muzzin out of options. So if ur putting a lw or defenseman on the kings u need to be tradeing one. Stoll means alot more to the kings then adding another defenseman or lw. Kings only need people that fit into the team for the 13 14 season. So propects and picks best going to the kings
