Despite the high-scoring bronze medal loss to
Russia at the 2013 World Junior Championship, Team Canada's forwards in general were not as productive a group as they were expected to be at this WJC.
One of the more offensively productive Canadian forwards was
Jonathan Huberdeau, a
Florida Panthers prospect currently playing for the Saint John Sea Dogs of the
QMJHL. Huberdeau finished among the top 10 scorers at this tournament, netting three goals and adding six assists for nine points in his team's six games.
Huberdeau picked up three of his nine points in the bronze medal game, which was won by Russia 6-5 in overtime.…
