lol@Sportsnet. They're playing the same comments from Doug MacLean and PK Suban at every commercial break.

Really?? It actually explains a lot... considering the dialogue in these threads.

I don't think the judge can exert any rulings over the CBA negotiations, as that's not the subject of the lawsuit.

It takes 15 seconds, and I'm sure NBC would at least mention it. Especially if Bob Costas is hosting.

They've always advertised NHL games on their NFL broadcasts. Not to mention Al Michaels is a season ticket holder and major Kings fan. He actually got time with the cup. Also NBC Sportsnetwork is dying a slow death without the NHL. If true, they will ABSOLUTELY mention it at some point during the game.

I'll be excited when it's official....we've seen this before. I wouldn't get too excited if I were you guys, because it just sets up for more disappointment.

Hopefully it's true though!

What's all this nonsense about people getting too optimistic and too excited? Isn't that what being a sports fan is all about? Getting excited about things and then dealing with the disappointment if they don't happen.

deal in principle subject to ratification (via vote) would be required.

After everything I've been through during this lockout, I just can't trust Jeff O'Neil and Bret Hedican...

Maybe a month ago, I would have.
