Anyway, kinda just want to hear its over at this point. Not much else to say.
I wouldn't be too worried about running out of posts......

I have been to Ottawa twice. Arena is not downtown and I only recall one shopping plaza out near the arena. Had a Boston Pizza and then another bar.

Is this a new Tweet, or one from earlier today?

Yet you took the time to post about it and didn't add anything. Hey, neither did I.

Oh, I'm a huge fan of the Olympics. I just don't like the NHL players in the Olympics. I would prefer it if they went back to having national teams that actually played and trained together for more than a few weeks.

What an ***. So Kypreos is basically saying the lockout could be over in the next 24 hours or it won't be. Way to go out on a limb Nick.

With who?!?! Like what we just watched? What you are talking about is near impossible now. I'd rather see the best from each country.

So what do we know?
The NHL is meeting the PA in their hotel on the request of the arbitrator.
A couple of cryptic tweets from ex players(probably from a hunting cabin some where on a Saturday afternoon)
Someone said there has been some movement.
I don't get the optimism.

Pensions have been agreed supposedly, which was one, if the not the, biggest hurdling blocks left.

Yeah, everyone is gearing themselves up for another massive letdown. I'm trying to stay calm and detached until I see the words "Lockout over."
Edit: What Bob said.

Bob McKenzie @TSNBobMcKenzie
3 things to remember: 1. Until whole deal is done, none of it is done. 2. I'm cautiously, VERY cautiously, optimistic. 3. Re-read No. 1.

some reporters said Significant movement actually.
Optimism is because EVERYONE is optimistic, players, reporters, all the leaks are optimistic.
Plus it's a good sign when even the tsn guys are saying you could see a deal within 24-48 hours.(they also mention it could fall apart however, but no evidence of this yet.)

The "insiders" have been fairly quiet. I guess Lebrun is in the middle of his 44th piece of sushi.
