Oh My God EAT IT WORLD

I went to a ****** bar tonight and saw nothing but scene kids and it was scary for me cause I am 30 and hated life cause nobody was wearing hey-mama skirts and tittes and all the women looked like they were farmers and it was all a different scary world, I felt ****** and old

THEN THE LOCK OUT ENDED and I realized all those young adults are stupid and hockey is amazing and I no longer have to fill my life with stupid scene kids cause I can spend 100s of dollars on NHL again YAAAAAAYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Keep your fingers crossed for no out-of-conference games and a lenient approach to pre-existing backdiving contracts.

I can't wipe the smile off my face My brother ran so fast down the stairs to tell me the good news that he woke up everyone else in the house in the process.

Surprised that they agreed to the 7/8 split. I figured they would have settled for 7/7 but if I had to guess I would say the NHL got what they wanted on the variance front.

The NHL got the CBA length they wanted while the PA got the contract length and the upper limit they wanted throughout the day.

So what did they do with the BDCs?

Also, Cap is 64.3m for 2013-2014 correct? Edit: Confirmed by LeBrun!

Two quotes:

Training camp could start this week.

Quick ratification process could lead to training camp starting this week and earlier than Jan. 19 start date (at least 50 games)
So exciting. To think we can have training camp news on Monday. Oh Lordy

Dates still to be decided. Depends on how long it takes to get everything ratified.

Bettman: still a lot of work to be done, but framework is complete.

@FriedgeHNIC

Well the cap won't drop until next year so no, we're fine till the summer. Then we need to make room for an Edler raise.

Also, we're only playing the conference this season as per SN.

Not actually stoked to play Edmonton a bunch this season in what will most likely be more than the usual 6 times.

Chris Higgins ($2.500m) / Jordan Schroeder ($1.025m) / Jannik Hansen ($1.350m)

CAPGEEK.COM TOTALS (follow @capgeek on Twitter)
(these totals are compiled with the bonus cushion)
SALARY CAP: $64,300,000; CAP PAYROLL: $62,260,000; BONUSES: $125,000
CAP SPACE (22-man roster): $2,165,000

Let me know if any estimates are wrong for Higgins, Lapierre and Edler. Although, i think we can afford to give them more in scenario 2 and 3.
