Silfverberg, Josefson and Nyquist are leading scorers of their team. Maybe not the most surprising guys.

Personally I follow Grand Rapids the most and Almquist has been very good since the start of November. His defense holds up very well at AHL level, with some more strength I think he'll handle NHL too. His passing game, shot and hockey sense is right up there. If he was a slightly better skater I'd be very high on him becoming a top4 D, right now I see him as a bottom pair guy playing PP.

He's Mr. Steady. He probably tops all forwards in ice time, playing 1st line, #1 PP, #1 PK, 3on5 etc. He's improved his skating a bit and is good especially around the net and around the boards. Needs to improve on faceoffs. Not a lot of wow factor but compliments Nyquist and Tatar well. He will definitely get another contract and a chance with the Wings.

Thanks, good for him, just wishful thinking of mine that he would return home next season.

I'll go name-dropping.. Ekman-Larsson, Nyquist, Josefson, Larsson, Silfverberg, Lehner, Krüger, Erixon - I think they'll make it for sure.

Bubblers/high possibility: Lindholm, Brodin, Zibanejad, Markström, Nilstorp, Pääjärvi, Bång, Ekholm, Nilsson, Rundblad, Gustafsson, J.Larsson, Ullström.

Impressive to see Erixon's production, hope he gets a roster spot with Columbus from the start and show the Flames and Rangers what they're missing out on.

Lehner
Svedberg
Erixon
Gustafsson
Rundblad

I thought Brodin was very good, more so considering the circumstances.

AHL regular season ended.

The good:
Robin Lehner: 93.8 SV% (1st), 3 SO.
Niklas Svedberg: 92.5 SV% (3rd), 4 SO, 37 W (2nd). AHL Goalie OTY.
Magnus Hellberg: 92.4 SV% (4th), 6 SO (2nd).
Jacob Markström: 92.0 SV% (12th), 3 SO.

Gustav Nyquist: 58 games, 23 goals, 37 assists, +10.
Johan Larsson: 69 games, 16 goals, 24 assists, -2.
Johan Sundström: 59 games, 11 goals, 21 assists, +7.
Jacob Silfverberg: 34 games, 13 goals, 16 assists, +4.
Joakim Andersson: 36 games, 10 goals, 16 assists, +1.
David Ullström: 33 games, 9 goals, 17 assists, +14.

David Rundblad: 50 games, 9 goals, 30 assists, +8.
Mattias Ekholm: 59 games, 10 goals, 22 assists, +15.
Adam Almqvist: 68 games, 10 goals, 21 assists, +13.
Tim Erixon: 40 games, 5 goals, 24 assists, +9.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson: 20 games, 7 goals, 14 assists, +5.

The bad:
Tedenby
Pääjärvi
Rödin
Klingberg
Sjögren
Wännström

The goalies did great.
The defensemen played good minutes for the most part, even the shutdown guys like Nemeth, Claesson and Dahlbeck. No shortage of good defensemen.
Severe lack of goalscoring among the forwards, just like in the NHL. Some forwards are running out of chances and some already returned home.

congrats to Almqvist, Andersson and Nyquist for winning the Calder Cup.

Other news: David Ullström is leaving for KHL, so I think we can write him off as becoming a NHL-player

When I see Ullström returning to Europe he strikes me as a could-have-been. Switch organizations for Ullström and Andersson and I think Ullström is an NHL player next season while Andersson is not. That's how much difference a good development system does.
