They do have some pretty nice pieces in place already. They sorely lack that franchise QB and unfortunately for them, that QB isn't in this draft- at least not without substantial development.
Assuming KC is still terrible next year, Andy will have his pick between Manziel and Aaron Murray

I doubt it

Maybe Cleveland since they need a QB and he fits Kelly's style

Yeah.

Clowney's the early favorite to be the 1st pick next year though.

Sources tell me Chip Kelly and the eagles are close to an agreement on a 5 year deal. If I'm right I'm golden. If wrong my source is fired

Hope this isn't serious

I wouldn't feel comfortable putting money on it. Remember, sources told Schefter that Reid was going to sign with Arizona.
It ain't the same tweeter, and probably not the same source, but in this age where everyone has to break the news instead of you know, getting it right, I've learned to become more patient for the actual news. When people tweet "sources tell me" it's just an easy way of covering their behind when they're proven wrong.

Btw, sources tell me I'm about to win the Powerball drawn tonight.

I hope it is.

He's either going to flop or hit a HR...and I'm alright with that.

I saw this too, dont know what to think. He seems like a really smart guy and is an innovator. I think he has what it takes to be a good coach, I just dont want the Eagles experimenting with that right now. But if I were in a room with Joe Banner for 7 hours Id look very hard at my other options too .

To me, this is a great time to swing for the fences. We're very likely to be bad for a couple years. I'd like to see what Kelly can do personally. None of the other options are that much better imho.

I feel bad for everyone. I wanted Part 2 to what we saw on Sunday. Instead we got the Joe Webb Experience. Vikings deserved better.

eagles vs browns for chip Kelly, they are still meeting. if it goes into sun AM that I think means he could be an eagle.

If you chip Kelly, ask your self this which place do you want to go to Cleveland or Philadelphia

Cleveland. Browns came on in the end, and didn't quit on their coach.

A 12 hour meeting? Honestly, I can't even imagine what that could have entailed unless it included some sort of negotiations.

That's how I feel too. The Birds have never won a championship. I have no problem with them taking a shot on a guy that is a high risk high reward kind of guy. Worst case scenario, the Eagles are in the same position they are now in a couple years. Best case scenario they turn it around with Kelly at the helm.

I am with you two guys.
Nothing worse than bringing in a mediocre coach right now and being a mediocre non-playoff team for a few years.
I want Boom or Bust. If our next coach is a failure, he better tank it hard. Clowney, Bridgewater and maybe even Manziel. Mjam.

The more I think about it, the more I will be ok with im. If he is great ( which I think he can be), it could lead to a parade on a very cold day in February). If he is terrible (which could happen too), then I wouldnt mind seeing Jadeveon Clowney in Midnigh green for his career. We'll see.

Talent wise, KC isn't that bad, on D more so than O. You have to understand, they had zero coaching this year. From what I've read, Reid isn't a gameday coach, but a mon -sat coach, which is way more than we had this year.
If KC can get to near .500 next year, I think they will be heading in the right direction. But first, they need an OC and a QB and gameplan around Jamaal Charles
