They know that most ST holders are part of a ticket group....would be a strange choice to go to a card system unless they offer print at home option for free then it would be okay

A nice pdf file with your tickets sitting in your account to print off at home would be easy and convenient for everyone involved

I guess I respect anyone doing the 'fan lockout" thing? But that is just not for me in the slightest. I've continued buying Jets gear over the summer and the lockout, and I don't expect to stop now.

The only thing I did was getting rid of Ladd's name on my jersey and putting my own on.

And I'm not selling any of my season tickets out if spite.

Actually they can end it at 8 years ( opt out early clause ) , but whos counting.

Just telling those on the waiting list.... If it happens again ( lockout ) you will be getting my seats.

I am on the waiting list. I look forward to taking advantage the pre-sale and game day offers to access tickets to all the games I wish to see.

As soon as February rolls around I will have forgotten the past four months.

In some cities a fan lockout might be felt where interest was already somewhat low. In Winnipeg, someone will fill your seat if you don't want it. It won't have any impact besides denying yourself something you enjoy.

While I am extremely happy and lucky to be a Jets STH, the 2013-14 season better not have another 3% increase from TNSE....I know its their right to do so via the contract rules, but that would be extremely unfair and not appropriate. But they are in their rights to do what they wish within the STH contract.

If there is a 48 game season and no pre-season. Plus isnt TN giving us 3% as well?

Any ideas what the total for next year (payment this April) will be?

I don't recall TNSE saying anything about a card, I do remember the discussion here about it (some other teams are going that way). Correct me if I'm wrong though.

Not a huge deal IMO, you can always forward the tix through the website (for a charge). I did that with ALL my tix last year, I wanted to keep the book completely intact (this year I'm not quite as fussy, but for the inaugral season I wanted the keepsake).

I boycotted the NHL for 15 years. Was lucky enough to score ST and I'll be damned before I stop supporting the Jets.

You want to give up you ST...... go ahead...... but you'll regret it. (Just saying)

I agree my 15 year boycott was long enough to show them I mean business

I have 2 half season tickets in the 300's and was a loyal Moose st holder. I love hockey and won't deprive myself of it, but will be making a conscious effort to not spend money on concessions while at the games. Those are my intentions.

Email fron True North:

A Message to our Community

We are extremely pleased that the combined efforts over the past several months between the NHL and the NHLPA have resulted in a tentative agreement on a new ten (10) year Collective Bargaining Agreement.

We would like to acknowledge and thank all of our fans, partners, broadcasters, employees and our community for being patient with our organization, the League and the Players during the negotiation process that led up to this exciting news.

In the coming days we expect the agreement to be ratified and within the same time frame also expect to receive confirmation of the new 2012-2013 schedule, the commencement date of training camp and the date and time of the Winnipeg Jets home opener at the MTS Centre.

Upon confirmation of the revised 2012-2013 schedule fans can expect to receive, within two business days, their Jets season ticket package via Canada Post. Upon receipt, season ticket holders can log on to MY JETS ACCOUNT for complete account updates.

The Winnipeg Jets will continually provide regular updates to all of our fans as new information becomes available to us. Please refer to our website at www.winnipegjets.com on a regular basis.

On behalf of True North Sports & Entertainment Limited and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, we thank you for your patience and look forward to another exciting season of Winnipeg Jets hockey at the MTS Centre and on TSN Jets & TSN 1290 in 2013.

Hmmm...well, say Jets fans reduce concession spending and TNSE takes in (pro-rated) $1,000,000 less in HRR on concessions this year. That's $500,000 less in profit to TNSE. Overall, league HRR drops by $1,000,000. So $500,000 that would've been paid to (all) players is now clawed back through escrow - about $650 per player.

But disproportionately, a concession boycott hurts the local team...

In light of this email I logged into my Jets account and was poking around... I clicked on the Seat Exchange link from my Jets account homepage and there's a game in there!

It says:
"Fri, January 18, 2013
8:00 PM Colorado Avalanche"

Is this a possible new home opener? Perhaps the whole NJ game on Sat afternoon is not the home opener. 50 Game season maybe? Or it could just be a placeholder. Anyway, it's a fun little glitch.

I am with you on this...I have no intention of trying to "hurt" TNSE - they haven't done anything to me other than bring NHL hockey back to my small home town.

These last 2 lockouts have done nothing but help the viability of the NHL in Winnipeg. I am sure if Mark Chipman had his druthers, there would not have been a lockout - but he is just one of 30. I for one will be back in MTS full out for as many games as I can make this year. Sorry to say I just don't get the whole "protest" thing, I was devastated when we lost NHL hockey 15+ years ago, and ecstatic we got it back.

I respect anyone's right to not go to a game, pay to watch it, or buy merchandise...I hope people respect my right to spend my entertainment $ on the Winnipeg Jets

question, not sure if anyone know but:

Is it possible, in any way shape or form, to pick up tickets if you are not the credit card holder for purchased ticket? My father wanted to buy me tickets in the past but we couldn't figure out how to do it (he lives out of town) and so him buying them and coming to pick them up was kind of overkill when you only have a day to do it.

If you mean tickets purchased through Ticketmaster, you may be SOL.

I purchased so many pairs of tickets for games last year through Ticketmaster and I only remember two delivery options: Will Call and Retail Outlet Pickup. Both options require the credit card used in the transaction and photo ID to be able to pick up the tickets.

I do not recall having the option of the print-at-home method, where you could buy them, save the pdf files and then send them.
