Kampfer did it. Safer to put him with Seidenberg than the third pairing.
The way they use the 3rd pair they give them a lot of sheltered minutes against weaker competition. If you don't want him there I think he'd almost be better with Chara on the top pair than with Seidenberg on the 2nd.. but either way, I wouldn't be totally shocked to see him sent back to Niagra after 9 games. Odds are better that he'd stay for the whole season, but just pencilling the kid in on the 2nd line is a little risky.
And we still don't know who the other dman will be with McQuaid's return a myster (no timetable yet but I'm sure he'll be back at some point). Krug hasn't been good in Providence.
To start, and not factoring in any assets brought in from a potential Luongo trade:
D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Burrows
Raymond - Schroeder - Booth
Higgins - Malhotra - Hansen
Weise - Lapierre - Ebbett
Garrison - Edler
Hamhuis - Bieksa
Ballard - Tanev
Kesler is injured.
I have a strange feeling that Kesler will be ready for actionable if he is still hurt I wouldn't expect I would be for long, so I'd put Kesler at the 2C and Schroeder at he #3C spot. Lapierre at #4C and Malhotra either on the wing or as the 13th forward. Although It may of may not happen, I would like to see Kassian up with Hansen and Schroeder (Ahh two young guys, AV will hate it ), Higgins up to the second (where he has seen success) as Raymond as the fail safe for Kassian. I would go Pinnizotto over Weiss, but that's just nit picking
I may as well do he lineup cause it's pretty wordy. this is the lineup I want (not predicting) but here it goes
