Nearly every source is stating this summer for buyouts. So, I think we can take it as very likely that they won't be starting until the summer. Think of it: If TSN got ANY wind that the buyouts kicked in now, they'd be running a hotstove type forum, speculating constantly about who's getting cut.

Yeah, the more I look into it, the more likely it is that you're right.
Still, no harm in waiting the day or two it will take to find out for sure. After all, the new CBA isn't even in writing yet.
I agree that this is a very realistic lineup, apart from Lundin's present injury. I suppose we could see Borowiecki or Benoit come up instead. But I must say, neither scenario fills me with confidence.

Injured Dec. 22nd. Surgery sometime after that to do something. Out for something like 6 weeks, so would miss the first couple.
