Jeez, it's only a two goal game but the IceCaps look dead. Wake up!

Too little, too late. What a tough loss to take. Undone by a terrible turnover.

Why does O'Dell keep getting screwed. He had one of the better ppg last year, but still was a healthy scratch quite a bit. Then this year again he is very high in ppg, but has only play 17 games (has he been hurt?). I think he is a solid prospect, but can't catch a break in St. John's, maybe needs to move on to another organization...
O'Dell was out of the lineup with an injury, I don't know what it was, but it definitely wasn't performance related. He was leading the team in scoring when he got hurt.

What exactly is wrong with Burmistrov and when do they expect him back? Anyone know? I haven't heard anything but "upper body injury" and he's been on the shelf for a month...

I was hard on Burmi and his lack of production with St.Johns wouldn't surprise me to hear he was playing injured for a large percentage of those games.

Even if he was healthy enough to play now, don't you think the Jets would insist on keeping him out until he was 100%.

Just wondering why there's been no news.

If they avoid the early goals tonight, they will win. IceCaps were the better team for most of last night.

God damn, stop giving up the early goal!
Jeez.

Also, it helps to not need a gazillion chances to score goals.

Alright guys, a much tighter, more focused IceCaps team on the ice here. Please keep the two points at home in the third period.

When it rains, it pours. Good for Klingberg.

UGH: a slashing penalty on Arsene with 2:21 left in the 3rd, and tied at 2-2. This PK better be good.

The good: Klingberg breaking a 15 game goaless streak.
The bad: 6 losses in a row at home, and they still seem to have problems putting pucks in the net.

I am guessing that Postma, Redmond, mahachek, Cormier and Klingberg at a minimum go to Training camp. caps can call up Kaunisto and Sides. I suppose agents of ECHL players are busy this morning

Don't think they'll bring Klingberg up, since he has zero chance of sticking with the Jets. Just the oter 4 (and Burmistrov) that you mentioned will come to camp, IMO, since all of them could play on the opening day roster.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Macenauer called up to TC over Cormier. Cormier just returned to the IceCaps lineup after missing 2 months. His style of play may not require a whole lot of catch-up time but he still needs to get back into the rhythm. Macenauer offers similar skill set to Cormier and he seems to have played well so far based on a few anecdotes in this thread and his stats line.
