Regular Season Lineups
With a new season among us, this is what I think will be the starting lineup:
Tangs - Cammy - Iggy
Glencross - Cervenka - Hudler
Baertschi - Backlund - Stempniak
Bouma - Stajan - Comeau
Jones
Bouwmeester - Wideman
Giordano - Sarich
Brodie - Butler
Smith
Kiprusoff
Irving
Karlsson
Does Baertschi play for the Flames, or do we keep him in the minors? Does Cervenka centre the top line?

I think Bouma is injured? I think the same can be said with Hudler but I'm not sure if he is still injured. So insert Jackman on the 4th line. Pretty pumped to get the season started and hopefully end our playoff drought.

Hudler is alright. I'm not so sure in Cervenka case.

I most exited to see how Cervenka and Bärtschi do. Hope they get solid ice time, which should give them confidence.

Just realized that his consecutive 30-goal seasons will likely end this season unless he turns beast mode...

Stajan is likely a buyout candidate.

This, it will allow Horak to take his place. We get two compliance buyouts.

I heard it is a 2 year buyout so we may wait until after the shortened season and see where we are.

Am I wrong, or does Cervenka have some sort of blood issue right now?

- Each team will be allowed two amnesty buyouts that can be used to terminate contracts after this season and next season. The buyouts will count against the players' overall share in revenues, but not the team's salary cap.

Wrong. It was Hudler with cut in neck area. But, fortunately, out of the artery.

Wrong. Cervenka also has a blood issue and is currently on blood thinners.
So pumped to see this new look and what Hartley can do with this team!

Glencross - Stajan - Stempniak
Horak - Backlund - Comeau
x - Jackman
Bouwmeester - Wideman

Brodie - Sarich
x - The Anton, Smith
Kipprusoff
Irving

I would actually like to see Sven and GlenX switched around. That means its a line 3 with a lot to prove. While giving our second line a real scoring threat.

It would make more sense to save them both until next off season when the cap is 64.3 but this year we can go to 70.2 so I think we hang onto both buyouts until then and see who needs to be bought out right now we have around 65-67 million for this season so we don't need a buy out.

I think we got a very deep roster this year, and if iggy plays in january like he usually plays in january who knows? maybe hell get the 30 goals again
Anyone think kipper plays every game? (minus 3-4 games)

I considered that, but I wanted a more defensively responsible third line as a bit of a shut down unit, with a bit more offensive punch on the 2nd.
