Anyone know how they're going to handle tickets?

I actually wouldn't mind giving Redden a look. He was in the minors more for his salary. If he's willing to do 1 year $1M pro-rated, I'd give him the chance. He's the type of guy Holmgren looks for in terms of giving guys chances

any word on potential LTIR changes?
Not only LTIR, but what about that 35+ rule? Is that still in effect. Just thinking of what the team will do with Pronger. I rather see him retire, than, bought out. Imagine we bought him out and he had the balls to try to make a come back with another team like the Pens or Rags. Yikes.

If bryz doesn't have a great year, I think we have to buy him out. It'll be our only realistic chance to get rid of him. I think he gets a lot of unwarranted hate, but a goalie signed to his money and years should of played better, bottom line.

If we amnestied him, I think homer would go after Niklas Backstrom. I think that'd be a great fit, and would easily heal the loss of bryz. I believe Backstrom is a UFA after this year. Thoughts?

Backstrom would be fine if they can't get Bernier out of LA. If they can get Bernier, they can end this nonsense.

I don't want Bernier. He's small, and im not really sold on him. I especially don't want to give up what they would want for him. Add in the fact that if we want a number one defensemen in the near future, one of our great young players will have to be on the move. Backstrom is definitely a better fit.

Why wouldnt you want Bernier? I dont think LA has much leverage with Bernier's trade value. For the right price I would take him. Take a look at the crap we have down on the farm.
I dont think Backstrom goes anywhere. Not with Harding's medical issues.

The only reason he hasn't been traded yet is because of how high the kings view his value. Maybe/probably it will come down. I fear that if we want to obtain that #1 defensemen, homer will trade one of our great young forwards away. I don't want to lose another one of them in a package for Bernier, but this is all just speculation on how things will play out on my part obviously. I hope I'm wrong.

Also, I think Backstrom is definitely done in Minny. Most Minnesota fans feel Matt Hackett is ready to become their goalie in the near future.

I dont think the Flyers trade anyone off the NHL roster for Bernier if they made the move. I agree that the price has to be right tho.
I dont think the Flyers are going to buy out Bryzgalov honestly. After Bryzgalov who do you got? Leighton? Heeter? Hovinen?
not a lot of trust there for me. Now of course Bernier probably wants to be the main guy somewhere so there is that issue as well.

Any #NHL player not on entry level contract will now have own room on the road. Used to be 600 games played in league

I think that if they buy out Bryz, it'll be after they have already signed a UFA goalie (cough Backstrom). Haha i'm just speculating but the only reason I would consider buying out Bryz is because it can only happen next summer, no later. The buyout won't be able to be used after the summer of 2014. If you have a chance to get rid of an underachieving player signed forever, you have to consider it.

I will try but am at work currently and won't be home until late tonight. Krishna is really good though with keeping everyone updated. I'm sure he will supply updates today. If I see anything on twitter about it I will post, but probably won't have a link for it

Also brooks is the only I have seen so far report this, but seems like you get one buyout this summer and than another next. Most likely would be Bryz and briere in that order you would think right?

I would look into Markstrom from Florida if Luongo gets traded there.

Love him, but if we're worried that Bernier costs too much, cant even be realistic about Markstrom.

I figured Bernier would cost more because he is more NHL ready.

They were apparently interested in him before the lockout and Luongo wants to go there.

I see alot of you mentioning Backstrom (Hawk fans do it alot as well)

Gotta remember that he is butterfly goalie and has already been having issues with his hips

For what roster spot? Our defensive roster spots are pretty set.
