It was on the table from the PA you mean. It certainly wasn't what the league was offering. The only reason for the agreement is that the league caved on just about every single thing that the players wanted.

seems like this lockout did nothing more than solidify the nhl as a second-rate league.

maybe i'm just annoyed i had a nice vacation to watch the nhl over the holidays, and now that there are games i wont be able to watch much.
Yep, that should make things stale for quite some time.

Good call on the Panda shopping cart gif, Bigs. I made some adjustments.

Beautiful.

This is some mighty fine news to wake up to.

Roommates on the road was fun and team building. You learn a lot from living w/ a d-partner or winger. Not a big argument either way.

But Duper and Sid could still sleep in the same room, I mean it's not banned or something, right?

, any word on quality of towels? what happens when you've only got one guy on an ELC on the team? do they have to share with whoever is lowest on the totem pole staff wise? . Can Sid and Duper still build pillow forts if they want to?

There's a schedule on the Pens site. Not sure if it's accurate, but.....http://penguins.nhl.com/club/schedul...013&gameType=2

saw something about there maybe being a week to interview upcoming UFA's before free agency starts in the new CBA. That seems like a good idea to me. Make it more about best offers and less about a race. Also should help minimize the Parise/Suter situations of teams missing the rest of the field waiting for the top guys.

I don't think so. There are no games scheduled between the 21st and the 29th of January. Probably would've been the All Star-Break.

NOW... you HFB HOSERS and ALL AROUND INTERNETS FRIENDS O MINE... MAKE THEM PAY!

DON'T Buy tickets for a while or jerseys. Send a message that we ain't a bunch of suckers who can be kicked around every 8-10 years with no consequence. Sure we'll all be back eventually but for right now... make 'em pay! Make January - March or April the worst revenue months the NHL has seen in years. Speak with your wallets because it's your only option, short of getting this BS at the end of every CBA.

And don't listen to that eternal optimist Ogre, who will encourage you to pretend like it never happened for fear of "punishing oneself". Whatever that means. Stand tall, sons of HFB!

You know me too well

Life is too short to deprive yourself the things you enjoy to prove a point to someone who most certainly won't notice or care.

Anyone who has tickets and wants to protest by not going, send me a PM with your price.
