I like IS's idea. Maybe combine those with the 20th anniversary... something along the lines of "20 years... and still here / hockey in the South" and add players and events from our 20 year old history.

Obvious ones:

something with Manon Rheaume

something with Phil Esposito, Terry Crisp, Art Williams, Feaster, Torts, OK Hockey, Genius Lawton, gamblin' Tocchet, Vinik, Yzerman, Boucher...

something with Mishkin ("horn man"), the Chief ("tsssk"), Peckham, Dinger, (bald) PK, Cristodero, EE, Thunderbug, and so on...

something with the Expo Hall, the Thunderdome, and former players (or even legends) as Chris Kontos (and his record), Brian Bradley, Denis Savard, Paul Ysebaert, Daren Puppa, Rob Zamuner, Wendel Clark, Roman Hamrlik, Dino Ciccarelli, John Cullen, Petr Svoboda, Brad Richards, Dan Boyle, Nikolai Khabibulin, Freddy Modin, Pavel Kubina, Ruslan Fedotenko, Vinny Prospal, ...

We still of plenty of time to come up with more ideas if we can't decide on anything yet (especially if there's a lockout)

The lockout angle is pretty interesting just by itself as what does the CBA unlock exactly?

Intensity Unlocked, Passion Unlocked, Physicality Unlocked, Scoring Unlocked, Potential Unlocked. **** like that.

Intensity = Boucher
Scoring = Stamkos, St. Louis, Lecavalier, Purcell, (Malone, Pouliot)

Some guys are a bit hard to figure, but the premise has enough room to get very specific or silly.

Bergeron - Turnovers: Unlocked
Hedman - Offense/Big Minutes/Upside/Skill Set/Pokecheck?/(qualifies for potential as well)
Carle - #25/Return
Movember Malone - Mustache: Unshaved
MSL - Hockey IQ/Effort/PP/(endless possibilities)

Since it's less than 82 games we can't celebrate the whole 20th anniversary. We can only celebrate a piece of it thanks to the lockout. A fraction of the anniversary. This board loves fractions. 50/82?

I like this idea and I hate the Xbox but we could use a 360 Achievement unlocked type template.



Put the players number in the empty circle.

Could put this at the bottom and a pic of the player for the rest. Or just run with just this with the players number in the empty spot.
