So what's the status on this? Weren't games scheduled to start this week before the whole lockout situation?
Game can't start until EA does their rookie roster updates. Rookies don't get updated until they play their first NHL game. So when the season starts we will get to start. Until then we are unfortunately in limbo.
10 days ago the last post?!?!?!? This season really needs to start so I can get my ass-kickery under way.

Not to be rude, but wasn't the whole point (or one of them anyway) to using EA as the sim engine to avoid issues if there was a lockout?

I'm not going to lie, my work life has changed dramatically since the last time this game was fully operational. I'm going to see if I can try to get this back off the ground and running again. I will have to send out mass PM's calling everyone back.
But to be honest it will be really hard to get it back up and running. With my work schedule and my running a team in a NHL 13 league it will be tough to manage. I will try to get this going again. Whether I'm successful is another story...

I understand mine has changed as well. I went from a graduate working 30 hours a week to a full time salaried position working 60-65 hours a week. The money is great but I have no life unfortunately!

I hate to do this. Trust me this pains me more than anything because I've poured so much energy into this league but I don't have the time to keep this going. Originally my plan was to just do the updates on the weekends but there's so much work to do in between the week. I don't have the energy to do this anymore.
I really wanted to thank you guys. You have all been so awesome and made this whole experience a joy for me. While I a ending this for now, I hope to one day start it up again and enjoy the wonderful experiences I had over the several months of this game.
Again I apologize that I have to do this. When the game was out on pause in September I have a lot more time on my hands. Now I find myself working two jobs and 45-50 hours regularly that I don't have the energy to get this going again.
I hope that when I start this back up again you guys will be first in line to get back in here. You guys we truly awesome.
