Hartnell - Giroux - Voracek
Schenn - Briere - Simmonds
Fedotenko - Couturier - Read
Wellwood - Talbot - Rinaldo
Shelley

Timonen - Schenn
Grossmann - Coburn
Gustafsson - Meszaros
Lilja

Bryzgalov
Leighton

I would really love to have Rinaldo's place taken by someone else, but I can't think of anybody better at the moment. I am also not a big fan of Wellwood. I know he's been doing okay recently for the Phantoms, but on the whole, his season has been terrible.

Flyers have the cap room to bury Walker for another year. It would be silly to use one on that.

Ah the wonders of a hangover.

I seriously thought this said he injured his wrist checking out (of the hotel) at first.

Back to bed for this guy.

Almost positive you can not use the buyouts until the off season. Players didn't want to lose their jobs and have 1 week to try and find a new city and home for the year. We don't have to worry about Walker, his deal is dead after this year.

assuming there are no changes to LTIR rules Pronger shouldn't be an issue but in case he is no longer eligible or something and the Flyers need to take on his cap hit it could cause some trouble next season.

The biggest deal with Pronger is his cap hit hurts our off season spending. If he mutually agrees to the buyout(don't know all the rules here), you use it on him. He would just be wasting space and is going to retire.

for those asking about mez

Quote:
Meszaros, who underwent surgery in August to repair a torn right Achilles tendon, will have a checkup Monday and may find out if he can expect to start the season Jan. 19 - that is, if the labor battle ends.

"I'm feeling pretty good. It's still not where I want it to be, but I'm trying to be optimistic," Meszaros said after Friday's practice in Voorhees. "I want to make sure it's 100 percent because I don't want to come back too soon and then something happens."

Hartnell Giroux Voracek
Schenn Briere Simmonds
Read Couturier Fedotenko
Wellwood Talbot Rinaldo

These are absolutely perfect, that third line is incredible.

Timonen Schenn
Coburn Grossman
Meszaros Gervais(till Gus is healthy)

Bryz
Leighton

This is how I want our lines. Defense can be juggled, but if our forwards are anything besides what I have listed, i'll be incredibly disappointed.

Really excited for both Schenn's this year.

I think Luke will have a great season (well hoping).

Wouldnt be surprised if Laughton, Cousins, Noebels and a few of the ahl guys like HarryZ and Akeson are all invited. There is technically one spot up for grab by a rookie.

Laughton was on the CHL prospect call up list so he'll be up here.

The rest will probably get called up as well. I haven't seen the AHL list yet

I'd flip Talbot and Rusty. Fedotenko is better at faceoffs and Talbot has been showing chemistry with Couts last season.

Sestito has shown some promise while playing in England and after all he is at least in game shape. Bury Shelly in the minors.

Also, Gervais will start until Mesz is good to go.

Giroux will be named captain. He deserves it. He isn't a UFA at the end of the year like kimmo. IMO he seems ready and capable of being that guy

I don't know. I am little out of love with the trend of naming "franchise" players Captain - i.e. Crosby, Ovie, Richie, etc.
