Well, the odds remain the same AFAIK. The 14th team still only has a snowball's chance in hell of winning 1st overall.

Stupid greedy players

You will lose hundreds of player spots when league contraction sets in.

No sympathy.

I'm surprised HFboards didn't blow up today.. I'm excited and not. I'm still pissed at the greed and don't really feel like supporting their actions.. But I will still watch on TV. Not going to see a game that's for sure..

The bad news is I just remembered how much money Bergevin gave to Brandon Prust.

Same here. I'll watch on TV because I love the Habs but I'm done giving the NHL money.

I wouldn't be surprised if by the end of the year we see his name in the "buy-out x player" discussion. People on this board said Moen was overpaid at 1.5.

I just blew the minds of a few habs fans reminding them that we 1) Have therrien as coach and 2) Signed Bouillon in the summer

well if you consider time as money, giving them your 'time' is money in their pockets

Wasn't a fan of the move then, still definitely not a fan of it now. Hopefully he proves me wrong.

No worries. Worse case scenario, we fire Therrien and call up Lefebvre.

Therrien I'm definitely not a fan of. But Bouillon in a limited role will be serviceable and he'll help out the young guns.

It's back!

Two amnesty buyouts! Bye Gomez!

With our luck watch Gomez have an okay year and then he doesn't get bought out

It's nice to have the NHL back, but I don't think this team is very good. Hopefully they prove me wrong.

Gotta agree with you. I'm not against Bouillon as a player as much as I'm against the idea of adding him to our team in it's current shape. We have 8 (or we will once subban signs) NHL defensemen. Weber I can see traded, but then we've got Bouillon making 1.5 million to be the 7th D who won't even play all the games? Just found that a bit odd. It's also adding another injury prone component to an already injury prone team. It's like we're thumbing our noses at the hockey gods.

" You can't possibly injure ALL our habs!"

Worst case scenario, he makes the team into a 9th seed contender. I can live with the team being unable to win game or even score a goal for the remainder of this season season.

Honestly we will see, usually seasons after lockouts are pretty weird.

Anyway, I'm quite happy !
