Heard that too. Would be a worse choice than Chip Kelly.
I say a CFL coach would need to be an assistant first. The NFL has different rules, more talent, bigger egos, and I'm sure a whole different camp and practice routine. Was this guy in the NFL before?
Also, if Kelly picks Philadelphia over staying, Arians is the Bears' coach to lose.

If Kelly doesn't go to Philly, he is owed an apology. Media kept making him out to be a savvy head coach who would bolt Oregon after much success and was being distracted by his potential NFL future before the Fiesta Bowl. The media has been absolute garbage toward him. Asking him about the NFL when he told everyone he just wanted to coach the last game in peace. I guess reporters need something to write about, but that is a garbage profession that I decided to not partake in. Kelly is all class and has been through this.

Cullk you probably haven't followed but Trestman's got more than 20 years of experience as an NFL assistant.
Thanks. I originally asked if he had previously been in the NFL. I appreciate you clarifying this for me. He is certainly more qualified in my book than I previously thought. Not so bad anymore.
Really don't want Trestman. I want a young, offensive minded coach who is in the NFL and in tune with the current evolution of the game. We're not grooming a QB. Cutler isn't going to change his stripes.
Cutler is no RGIII, but he is an athletic dude. Shanahan could use that to his advantage. None of the read option ********, but you can roll him out and what not. Allow him to use his legs. He has the arm strength to throw on the run.
What has Kyle done of note beside letting RG3 run the pistol?
Personally, I believe he helped make Robert's transition go smoother. He adopted a scheme to fit him and didn't make him fit what they normally would think is best. Why wouldn't you want a guy that's a great mind that would adopt a scheme to make the player at your most important position more comfortable and successful? Just my two cents.

When you invest as much as they did to get a phenomenal talent like him, you better adjust to make him comfortable.
Not sure if I missed something as I tuned in a little late to this Ravens/Colts game, but why is Pierce in every play? They have a top 3ish RB in Ray Rice. Is he injured or something?
