Thats what I'd go with. I think a line of Whitney-Roy-Ryder would be too much of a defensive liability. Nystrom belongs on the 4th line, he's not going to repeat what he did last year. Sceviour also belongs on the 4th line, I think he's already maxed out in the AHL. Dont risk losing him for nothing like Crombeen. Wandell can be the 13th forward/injury replacement.
I really want Benn and Loui to stay together all year. I'm not thrilled about Benn playing on a line with Whitney. A line of Whitney-Roy-Ryder is weak defensively, but I think their offensive production might out-weigh that weakness. Ryder would have no problem keeping up his ppg pace with Roy and Whitney setting up his sick snap shot.

Roy's a goal scorer, and I'll be incredibly stunned if Ryder even comes close to PPG pace.
Roy is, if anything, kind of a jack of all trades, but his best asset is his scoring ability.
Definitely agree with the jack of all trades (mostly offensive). When I think of Roy, I think of him as a playmaker with some finesse. Regardless he's a welcome addition.
