Didn't the Skins lose to Joe Webb last year?

Yes, and Toby Gerhart ran for 100 yards in relief of an injured AP.

A Skins win would go great with the news that the lockout has ended.

RG3 make it so.

Morning everyone. Stepped away from the board (I'm sure no one noticed) and all things hockey until the lock-out was over. Didn't buy NHL 13 or any Caps stuff this year for the holidays.

Today's going to be a great day. The Skins are going to beat the over-hyped Seahawks and we got hockey back. Don't know about you, but I'm a sheep and I'll be sitting my @$$ in front of the TV loving every minute of it. Cannot believe how well the Skins are playing; it's been fantastic. Go Skins, go Caps.

First we have just about every talking head, blogger, and supposed expert picking the Seahawks over the Skins today (accept Dan Graziano‏@espn_nfceast), now we have this story that came out today in USA Today:

Dr. James Andrews says he never cleared Robert Griffin III to go back into game after injury

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports...njury/1811689/

"(Griffin) didn't even let us look at him," Andrews said. "He came off the field, walked through the sidelines, circled back through the players, and took off back to the field. It wasn't our opinion.

"We didn't even get to touch him or talk to him. Scared the hell out of me."

"I'm the one that shut him down that day, finally," Andrews said. "I've been a nervous wreck letting him come back as quick as he has. He's doing a lot better this week, but he's still recovering and I'm holding my breath because of it.

"He passed all the tests and all the functional things we do, but it's been a trying moment for me, to be honest with you."

Man, what the hell is going on? Anti-Griffin blow back?

Andrews sounds like a wuss. He sure doesnt have much confidence in his own tests.

Iron Mike just gave the standard the docs cleared him speech. And Andrews sold him out on it to promote a book IMO.

Andrews sounds neglect in his duty letting him go back out if its that severe. Where was he when it all went down, anyways. He should have been at RG3's side as he got off the field, if not sooner.

Stolen from ES, wanting to see RG3 shed the knee brace a la Forest Gump on a TD run.

Report from the stadium is Griffin is wearing a different type of knee brace today. Or at least he was in warm ups. He is wearing one of those knee braces you slide up your leg and over the knee. Not the bulky brace he wore the last couple weeks since getting hurt with hinges and such.

*edit*

The Crows just scored to go up 24-9 over Indy with a little over 9 minutes in the 4th. Despite my general disregard for all thing Crows, it would be nice for Ray Ray to go out with a win in his last home game of his career. I caught Mike Singletary at the end of his career so I saw glimpses of his greatness, but Ray Lewis is the best defensive player I have ever seen play the game. 1st ballot HOFer for sure.

Nevermind:

Mike Jones‏@MikeJonesWaPo

Griffin back out on the field and in uniform with the robo-cop brace. #Redskins

And

Tarik El-Bashir‏@TarikCSN

Indeed, Griffin has switched back to the bulky brace with the velcro strap and hinge. #RedskinsTalk

Another good sign:

Mike Jones‏@MikeJonesWaPo

Cedric Griffin back in uniform for the first time in four games. Looks rather pumped as he takes the field. #Redskins

Kyle with lots of passing today in our usual run downs, exactly what I was hoping for to keep Seattle off balance.

Garcon Licht and III all injured in the first quarter. I guess we see why Rex is dressed.

Garcon had a target/catch after the injury, or did I misread a jersey #?

That piss poor 3rd and 12 tackle attempt by Josh Wilson hurts.
