haha ok 5 games but still the Titan are no threat for any team they have some nice trade chips to trade and make a scary team for the next 2 years if used wisely

I dunno their roster after this season seems underwhelming. I mean their 3 best forawrds for next year as is would be Lafontaine, Lalancette and Zdrahal... Not exactly shaking in my boots at that. they're set in goal but their defense is far from perfect and their forawrd group looks mediocre. They'd have to add a 1st liner and a top D as futures to be competitive next year, that's just my opinion.

The trade chips they have are the 20's and Girard... and possibly Brennan depending on how much faith they have in McDonald. Brennan has been good this year from what I've seen and could be somebody too look at. That being said I highly doubt all 3 20's move, in fact I'd kinda be surprised if one is moved... just a gut feeling there tho.

Here is what we have on hand right now:

Goals: Brennan(18)/MacDonald(16)

Defense:
Girard(19)
Godin(19)
Houle(19)
Delorme(19)
Robert(18)
Gosselin(17)
Gingras(17)
Doucet(17)

Forwards:
O'Brien(20)
Bissonnette(20)
Beaudry(20)
Lalancette(18)
Lafontaine(18)
Stevens(18)
Salvail(18)
Walsh(18)
Pelletier(18)
Meredith(18)
Zdrahal(17)
Zboril(17)
Marois(17)
Harmois(18)

In the pipeline, the Titan have:
Gallant(16)
Blanchard(16)
Fiore(16)

Even if the Titan lose their 3 OAs and 1 of 19YO Ds goes(Delorme), they still have 7 Ds and 11 forwards plus 3 more ready in the pipeline and a mature team full of 19YOS for next season.
It might not be an all star team but it will be again a midpack team.

What they added so far this season are:
Delorme: a D #5-6 who can fill in at #4 like he did with the Huskies when they had injuries
Gingras: a D #4 this season for the Remparts, behind Lefebvre,Culkin and Carrier, ahead of Midensky.
Walsh: a former 1st round Rempart pick who has good size and can play 3rd-4th line....I view this guy as a replacement for Banville with more size.
Pelletier: a former Olympique who could have stayed on the 3rd line there but who wanted a guaranteed spot, something Groulx never ives away.
This guy could play top-9 for the Titan.

Out are Lyle,Banville,McGurty(a #6-7 D who could not climb the D chart).

These trades already make the Titan a better defensive team with a deeper forward roster....

Now a decision will be taken this weekend if they load or unload....
They were undecided up to this week anyway as much as I know.

When you look at the draft picks:
2 of 1st round 2013
2 of 2nd round 2013
2 of 3rd round
1st round 2014

This is far from a team who should empty te cupboards in order to go get Durepos/Tesink/Carrier.
They have the ammunition and are not desperate.

Not to burst your bubble , but you do realize all of those teams are playing with depleted rosters and missing most of their best players.

PEI : Beran , Pavelka
SJ : Hubderdeau , Tesink , Gagne
CB : Carrier , Lavoie
MON : Jaskin

I'm sure some of the outcomes would have been a different with full rosters. Plus , you can't base anything on 4 games.. Lucky streaks do happen , even for Bathurst.

What about Girard and Zdrahal injured for all these games?

Excuses are allowed but not in this instance.

SJ will be missing these players for the rest of the season.
Lavoie is gone for good and Moncton were only missing Jaskin.

Burst my bubble?

I got no bubble, these are plain facts and numbers.

Did you just seriously give the excuse that you were missing a player that has never played for you and may never play for you?

You had mentioned earlier that you thought our guys would all be back on Wednesday. They won't be. Not using it as an excuse, just letting you know.

Notwithstanding, the Mooseheads won 8 of the last 10 without these guys and pretty well sealed the fate of the top of this Division by doing so.

There is Halifax and then there is

The rest of the Division as it stands.

Two months ago, pretty well all you and some Moncton guys were claiming was that Moncton were contenders.....now some fans want to sell on their Board...
Two months ago, Bathurst was the laughing stock of some and their funeral arrangements were signed, sealed and delivered according to many on here.

Meanwhile the Titan reshuffled the cards, changed Coach and the results that we see are very positive....something finally positive for the rest of the year.

The Titan might not be on a contending run, but they are buyers for sure.
Brouillard was the proof of it.
Now they are looking to upgrade on the defense.

What I see right now is a team that will give a fit to PEI and Moncton any day of the week.

Halifax is another story.

the fact your buyers when your sitting in 12th place, only to possibly win a playoff series is a huge lack of vision. You have very little 2014 picks, and you will have to move your 2013 picks in order to be buyers.

Where does that leave the team in 2-3 years? According to you, they are buyers now, so they can make a run at winning 1 series.... keep drinking the LGM kool aid. There is a reason that there once was 2800+ fans every night in bathurst and now there are less than half. People see there is no vision and they have jumped off the bandwagon.

and...IMO.... 1st and 3rd pick for Brouillard is overpaying!!!
Why would they have to pay for Brouillard? Because it's the only way other GM's will make deals with LGM.

Fiore was also part of the trade. Also , remember how good Carl Marois was supposed to be according to someone ? Titan sent him to Victo for only a 6th round pick..

My deepest apologies. I know that must have been very insulting

Paying that price for Brouillard is because we are at the Christmas trade period.....not because other GMs did not want to get him....on the contrary.
There was a bid war for Brouillard and the price to get him was that one....for every GM.
