I'll be pissed if we deal Bradley. He's the spark the team has needed. His D is helping give KG the rest he needs to make it through another long season. Without Bradley's D we're just a borderline playoff team. With him we're arguably the same team as least year (contending in the eastern conference finals).

Would be great if true.

Bradley isn't going anywhere and those 4 you mentioned prior are a fair return Green and Sully they can build around and Lee and Terry makes them a veteran team. Both should be better on a team where Pierce doesn't take all the shots.

Cousins is a star and playing next to KG would be good for him. Need to get him signed long term. Doc would be the best coach for him.

I don't think this team is that "bad" but they have no chance against elite teams. In the east that just means Miami (Knicks series will be close) but the Western teams would demolish the C's.

Yup. But I'm pretty sure it didn't come with a PC NTC.

As long as Bradley is out of the deal, you do it. Cousins helps not only now, but when KG and Pierce are no longer around too.

A core of Bradley, Rondo, Cousins is pretty solid to build around for the future.

As long as the Celtics don't trade away AB it's all good. I hope they don't trade Bass as well, I was surprised with his defense last game and his overall game.

I think the players on the block as of now are Green and Lee and maybe Sully/Terry. If we are giving Sullinger, Lee, Green & Terry for Cousins, we would have to get a player back because there is a huge salary difference there.

But what I think a 3-team trade is on the horizon. I don't know for who or what teams will be involed with the Celtics, but come Jan 15th, I think it's safe to say Ainge is going to make a move.

I will say this, if this was Dcousins without the trouble, I'd make a deal. But this guy is a headache period. I can see him butting heads with KG.

I say we weather the storm and let Avery continue to help this team. We don't need to make any type of deal right now. We should have kept Stiemsma because I believe he would have helped this team considering we dont have a true center but thats the breaks. Cousins WOULD help this team, but at the risk of having his crazy breakdowns and attitude, I say no. Keep our guys and see what we can really do.

It starts with Rondo though. He needs to be consistent. Not when he feels like it. That is what separates him from being the best PG in the league, which I don't think he is.

Bass sucks. He's has turned into Glen Davis this year now that he can't knock down a jumper. He had a good game last time out, but that was the exception to the rule so far this year.

And we aren't getting Cousins. Former Kings beatwriter Sam Amick said that the Kings will absolutely not move him last night. The other player rumored to be coming back with Cousins was Francisco Garcia for those wondering btw

Carmello Anthony went to the Celtics locker room after the game screaming at presumably KG. Money's on KG

I think after watching last night's game and seeing how fantastic Bradley & Lee looked. I could be sold on working a deal for Cousins with Rondo going the other way as the main pieces. Work from there.

Love KG, but you'd probably be losing some money. KG's one of the softer players in the league, Carmelo may not be the toughest guy in the world either (he plays in the NBA so probably not ), but he'd kick KG's ass.

^you must not have seen Melo's slap fight at MSG when he was with the Nuggets then.

I give the nod to KG only because he has a longer reach

Read between the Lines, SPV, Rondo's not tradeable, because you then don't have a point guard..... AB and JET and Lee aren't PG, they're SG as Ray was.

I'm not ready to give up on Rondo; I think he's a star. But I think because we have two younger guards already in the system, it would be wise to move him for a young talented big man and maybe another young player.

actually, Alycat, THERE'S A RULE PREVENTING players from confronting opposition players as Melo did to KG, Stu Jackson ruled a 1 game suspension....

meanwhile, C's set the woeful Phoenix Suns (12-25) 87-79 to go back over.500.
