Hey Chuck sorry about the CPU thing, I've been working 16 hours days for the past 3 days. I'll send the request when I get home tonight then I'm back on my regular work schedule for all I have games with.

Jack and I are going to have to discuss the repercussions of these situations.

These teams may be limited to signing free agents, or may be forced to surrender a 1st round pick for not following a simple rule.

A couple of those teams had replacement owners, which didnt exactly have a chance after they took over.

But there WILL be consequences to those teams that have been here since Day 1 and made no efforts to play thier backups.

Trades arent really an excuse, Imo. For ont thing, most of those trades happened very early on and left plenty of games to sit the goalie later. For another, many made a concerted effort to play their backups, so it is hardly fair to let the violators skate.

Barring those teams from signing UFAsuntil the start of the seaon seems like a sufficient punishment for anyone at 73 or over

It is a simple but important league rule.

EDIT: The predators look like they will have all 82 games started by rinne. lundquist looks like he will get 80.. That is exactly what we are tryibg to avoid...

EDIT #2: we could also make people sit their starters for playoff games to make up for not doing it in the regular season. So if the starter has played 74, he sits the first two.

I am in favor of a very strong line this year--which should erase any issue in the future.
