Campoli will sign for league minimum and I think if the Wild think it will better the team they will do it they have spent to much money to hold back over the lockout dispute.

They are already reporting his retirement press conference will take place this week.

Per Ansar Khan at Mlive.

Quote:
Tomas Holmstrom, the best net-front presence in the NHL over the past 15 seasons for the Detroit Red Wings, is expected to announce his retirement soon, now that the lockout is over.

Holmstrom, who turns 40 on Jan. 23, informed the club of his intentions a while ago. The team did not want to make an announcement during the work stoppage. It will hold a news conference at Joe Louis Arena, likely before the start of the season.

well some are obvious like Gilroy to the Rangers since he is playing for their AHL team. I am sure the revolving door at 6th D is going to piss me off all yr. Gilroy ,Bickel, Emigner.........a bit F U to Dion Phaneuf for giving Mike Sauer a concussion. Ranger D would be so much better with him

btw does anyone think Campoli is going to get a deal? Some owners may be pissed at him right now

Someone has to sign Eric Fehr. The guy is doing great in SM-liiga. He's big, he can play in every situation and has over 0,5 goals per game so far this season. Also a right-handed shot which is always a plus and 265 NHL games played already as a 27-year old.

To be honest, I'm shocked if no one picks him up.

OK. Bounced the thread as tomorrow will likely be the UFA frenzy date of resigning the leftovers from the players not signed so far.

Who is it gonna be?
Hecht to Buffalo does not count as it was broken before the CBA was ratified by the NHLPA.

Sykora??
