Russo thinks that the Wild will have to get a defenseman since Scandella and Brodin are hurt. Who do people think the Wild are going to get? Some placeholder chump? A legit piece for the future?
Along that line, do the lockout buyout players get buyout now? Or does that wait until next offseason? Are there any potentially bought out players that could interest the Wild?
Let's pick up Eric or Jack Johnson. Columbus or Colorado aren't in the market for a goalie are they?

Probably the wisest and most likely trade idea I've heard in awhile..
He's our only good trade piece(that Fletch would move/we would want to move) as far as roster players that could snag us a #4 dman..now who would that be is the question.
FWIW there are rumors (between Russo and Bobby Mac) that Dumba will be invited to the camp to potentially play due to the lack of D-men. Assuming they would give him (max) nine games. Very odd.

love the idea of bringing him to camp, hopefully it would give him a little confidence boost after getting cut from the WJC team.

We should be able to patch this hole internally, without trading for a d-man or messing with Dumba's development. We all saw back in July that he is extremely raw.

Connelly is currently banged up as well.
I agree though, I really don't want to see Dumba anywhere near the NHL roster this year. The kid is already disappointed for not making Canada's WJ team this year, and getting roughed up and looking like a fool in the NHL is just going to shatter any confidence he has left.
