General Stars Talk IV: The Prequel

So here's a new topic. With Dallas losing a lot of it's grit and the breakdown of Morrow, we could use another PF. While I'd love to have Ritchie jump sooner rather than later, I don't think Joe is that hasty to accept that. Anyone else hoping Dallas throws Ryan Clowe a contract this summer? I'd be down with a 2-year $7M offer.

Thoughts?

Where would he fit in? I also think he'll go for more than 3.5M per.

yeah I'd love to have Clowe on this team, even coming off a poor season in 2011-12. Doubt San Jose would be letting him go though, they don't have much in the way of Forward depth as it is.

There's a guy named Steve Ott who'll be a UFA next summer. Just saying. That'd be pretty funny.

Ok ... so that practice video obviously had be from today. I saw Oleksiak so he's already here, but I'm almost positive Paul Jerrard was passing pucks to some of the guys.

Gulutzan said yesterday he still could not talk to the players so how does that work? He even mentioned he had to hold back from yelling out to them to do something.

EDIT: Take that back. Gully said it today. It's in the video next to Roy's. How is Jerrard out there then?

I watched them all too. I figured that footage was from Roy working out. The coaching staff was able to work with him I'd assume.

The footage from today was intercut with footage from Cedar Park when Roy went down to practice with them. They said the coaches were also helping out down there.

Just watched those videos. I think Roy likes it here. It was really weird hearing Morrow talk, it's been a while.
