You're the one who needs to step away from the computer. Too many hours at the screen is making you delusional. Some how you think you know what Luongo is thinking.

I actually think that this might happen if PK is not signed by next weekend.

This is more believable than Luongo to Toronto. Lou will stay away from the pressure cooker and will reestablish himself as a top 3-5 goalie with Florida's defensive hockey and low pressure.

Tim Thomas would do fine with the Leafs as he actually feeds off pressure.

Why do people completely ignore the fact that a)Florida is on a tight budget and b)has a pretty damn good goalie prospect already. Miami makes sense for Roberto personally, but on every other level is does not. You can sell the idea of his contract being decent to larger more profitable markets i.e Toronto,Edmonton etc but not Miami where they can't even give tickets away.

NO way VAN is getting a 1st or 2nd round pick out of Burke.

Loungo is a HUGE contract dump for VAN anyway. They want that 5.3M OFF their cap as fast as possible.

Burke should not give much for him if a deal is made.

Bozak and Franson and that is it. Nothing else.

Tyler Bozak, Jesse Blacker, 2nd Round Pick FOR Roberto Luongo.

Vancouver isn't getting a 1st, Kadri, Gardiner or Kulemin.

Exactly. No way, not worth it. They won't even get the 2nd.

The real question is why did CGY give him that contract and why did CGY trade away a top young Dman in the league for basically a bunch of scrubs. Not to dig up the past but that deal goes down as one of the most lopsided deals in CGY history. Terrible deal. T.O definitely walked away from that saying no takesiebacksies

the fact we have heard nothing gives me the impression the deal to TO is done and that they are just waiting for the CBA to be signed for the Luongo trade

when the trade comes down I predict a war on this board

Two Vancouver deals

Raymond to Carolina for Boychuk

Luongo to Florida for Petrovic, Shore and a second (I think he's worth a first but.....)

Luongo to TB or Florida he didn't sound too enthusiastic about going to Toronto and who could blame him.

I would be parading in the streets if your GM manages to get Drew Shore + 2nd rounder for Lu.

Subban is exactly the RD (D) the Oilers need.....just curious what people think is a fair deal going the other way.

Eberle/Hall/RNH/Yakupov are pretty much off limits

Schultz is not happening, (NO CHANCE) Klefbom could be a possibility, I was thinking something along the lines of Paajarvi + (D Prospect Musil or Marincin)

The Oilers are NOT getting a young, established NHL defender with great upside still for a struggling former 1st rounder and a decent d prospect. You will need to give up something of value that we have in order to get Subban. Think Hemsky + 1st +?
