You are 100% right and that means my tickets will not be honored from stubhub correct?

the sale will be enforced for games that remain on the schedule and voided for games that do not occur on the date advertised for that sale even if they still play that team at a later or earlier day

However, I'm near certain he'll recapture his title when that piece of info is passed along in the 6th paragraph of our welcome back, "thank you fans" email from the Rangers...
Pre season tickets this year? And Dolan tried to avoid the lockout because he makes boatloads of money, not because me and you are nice guys.

If you are talking about Jan 15th, you will get a refund from stubhub. If it is 3/7, you will get a refund if the game is changed. For example, if it becomes Flyers vs Isles, you will get a refund.

They are not going to have a pre-season game, and if they do it should be free of charge like the viewing party they had last year for the road play-off games.

If everything remains the same, rangers vs isles with same date I imagine the tickets would still be good.

That game is on the 15th, season starts the 19th or later. Ergo the sale will be cancelled

I am curious to see what we will get for season tickets? No paper tickets I would guess/download only?

Interesting point...or perhaps download only for the first few games until the tickets are ready to go out?

They better be sending paper tickets, especially since you paid the $25 for FedEx if you asked for paper tickets. What they might do is send out printed tickets without dates that just say regular season game 1, game 2, etc like they do with playoff tickets

Knicks did two ticket shipments. First batch was 10 generic tickets with no opponent or date/time, only a label of Games 1 through 10, You then had to match up the game number with the right date using a cheat sheet. The balance of games was mailed a couple weeks later in the traditional season ticket booklet format

I believe the Knicks last year sent out two different packages. The first had the first 10 games or so listed by number for use and the second had games 11 and on listed with the dates and opponents. I'd imagine the Rangers would do the same.

Edit - Beaten to it lol.

There is a chance you get a "credit card".

They do this for Red Bulls and I read that Blue Jackets and one other team have already announced they are doing the same this year due to short turn time.

The $25 Fed Ex fee would cover cost to mail you your Card.

I am merely speculating, but it makes sense.

P.S. They could also load that card with some other freebies like discounts on food, merchandise, etc. It would be the leats they could do.

Do you mean a season ticket holder card? Those are illegal in New York state unless they offer a separate individual ticket option, which I suppose the Rangers would do anyways with the PDF forwarding feature.

But regardless, people paid and agreed to get hard tickets, the Rangers wouldn't be able to go back on that now

Remaining balance? I should be getting a refund! Although i guess given the different payment plans someone out there may still owe money on a 24 (home) game season.

Yea just saw I paid 5 out of the 8 payments, and that should give me money back if there is 24 home games.

Yeah, I am due a $25 refund. paid 2450, my seats are $100/pair, and then the $25 F U, I mean Fed Ex charge.

I made my last payment in august, I was on the 10 payment plan. Once the lockout was declared, I blocked MSG from charging my credit card.

What if you want to sell a game, you have to give someone your card?
