Rangers need to sell. They are not good enough to win with what they have and don't have enough to give up as buyers.
I know Spott is the coach, is he the GM too? If so, be lucky to get Teskey out of Mississauga and be happy with it. If Spott operates as a GM as he coaches, your in trouble. Sorry, but his coaching style does not appeal to me.
Imagine if the buyers market worked out for the rangers:
Gibson: 2 players, 3-4 picks
Murphy, Faksa, Reider: 1 player, 3-4 picks
Pumpel, Reider: 1 player, 2-3 picks
(these are just estimates based on past trades - of course everyone will value each player differently).
If this worked out for k-town, I'd almost suggest that they replace Windsor in the conversation for hosting the Memorial Cup next year! (that said, the nay sayers will repeat what is being said about London right now which is 'they just had it so you cant give it to them').
Ottawa sure did ok on this deal extracting Middleton and Blandisi...96 94. that 96 kid on D Middleton is huge also so that covers the loss of Cecil quite well.

Apparently Ottawa had to send a 3rd round pick as well!? I find that strange....

Great pick up for Ottawa. That must have been tough to let go of Middleton with such a small smaple size from him. He is one mean, tough, physical dman, I heard he is going to work extensively on his feet this summer. With Middleton in the mix and a high top pick(top 3) for this upcoming draft, just another piece to add to the puzzle. Monahan should bring an even sweeter deal. I imagine its coming soon. Let the bidding wars begin for him. They could plummet with the loss of Ceci and Monahan and end up with #1 pick in the draft. Great move.
what r u they doing come deadline ? buyers or sellers ? or even stay pat ?
i would like windsor to to a package deal with them that could bring them some talent
I'm expecting them to sit tight. If they do anything it would likely be a small deal, Mike Kelly has already stated that Dickinson, Garlent and Fabbri will not be moved in any deal. So that likely means any big deal is already off the table.
A small deal would probably include someone who will be back next season, but all that would be going the other way is maybe a couple mid round picks (They do have a few extra 4th's and an extra 6th in this years draft)

I am hearing Monahan stays put....need someone to help the new kid Day
Ok no, but really. Can somebody please help me with this? Help break this down.
Janes,Ceci and a 3rd pick to Owen Sound for Blandisi (94) and Middleton(96).
So was it Ceci for Middleton (and then)
Janes, 3rd for Blandisi?
(feel free to put in your own combos)
Prior posts when Knights fans thought they could get Ceci for a player and a two high picks were told thats not enough. It appears one player did the trick here.
Im just asking and I honestly dont know enough about Middleton and Blandisi to say whether or not it was worth it. Just seems to me that Ceci was expected to go for more (and not have to give up a 3rd rd pick too!)

Very good trade for Ottawa, Middleton is the catch here a stud 96 and Blandisi is nothing to sneeze at.
Two real solid assets, London doesn't have that available like OS did...we drafted Goalie.
London also don't need a Cecil.....best D in CHL and still is.

Wsr GM Warren Rychel on trading Khokhlachev:"Teams (are) interested but I think we’re just going to stand pat here and try to make playoffs"

Yea sounds about right WR is a Idiot...were going to get kicked out in 4 or 5 games easy it's just to strong of a conference, and WR is only thinking about how much more goals Kerby can get to hopefully raise his draft rank...

Better than Portland? or Edmonton?
How about best in OHL, and one of the best in CHL?

Pretty much what I thought, worrying more about his kid's draft position than franchise's future.
