And I was sure that the reference had something to do with Fletcher (the seagull). Couldn't put the pieces together, though.

Haha, thanks, but I brought my own.

But seriously, hope Granlund lights it up, great skill, and typical finn, humbel as hell.

Bold statement. Perhaps you didn't watch the Wild last season where he was our best forward on BOTH ends of the ice when Koivu went down...

Maybe watch some games before you make a comment like that.

Id like to see him play with Heater and one of Zucker or Coyle.

I think just about everyone wants to see Heatley and Granlund working together. One timer heaven Put Heatley on the second line and move up a rookie to the 1st. Coyle? yes yes

Or just put them up on the PP together. Speaking of our PP, it is going to be so much better with the new crew. Suter, Parise, and Granlund give us so much more depth on the PP.

How about:

PP1
Parise Koivu Seto
Suter Spurgeon

PP2
Bouchard Granlund Heatley
X Gilbert

I say screw that, load the first one up.

Parise - Koivu - Granlund
Suter - Heatley

Heatley played a lot of point on the PP in San Jose, and he did a lot of damage there with it.

Leaves our second PP with

PMB- Cullen/Brodziak - Seto
Gilbert - Spurgeon

Definitely worse than the first, but should be adequate.

I wouldn't put Suter on our #1 PP going forward, but as for now, we don't really have a choice.

The big question mark is the X next to Gilbert. I'm proposing moving Bouchard as the LD on PP due to his left hand shot. He can QB the PP with his excellent vision and playmaking ability, and he won't have to work the corners or "dirty" areas from there. Move Cullen to LW. Boom.
