2 things:

Darkest day in Habs history....

And the 2005 draft thread with the Price pick.....not my best moment amongst a 1000 more.

When Gomez got traded here. That thread was pretty epic.

The Mats Sundin derby too.

The board used to be a cross between Slapshot and Jerry Seinfeld

Now it feels like the hockey version of Cormac McCarthy's The road.

My favorite threads were the ones, over a short period, during trade deadline and free agency when we were unshackled and allowed to post wild and absurd speculations from unconfirmed, anonymous insiders. Now that was fun!

I missed the good old days sometimes. I understand the need for some structure and such but free for all was fun.

Many of the best things that happened here would never happen today.

the "jaybee" era was fun also. The Sundin Saga was super fun also and the Halak vs Price debates.

Yvon Cournoyer's first game.

As a boy I listened to the radio broadcast (in french) of Cournoyer's first game. I was convinced we had found an offensive force because here we had a rookie who scored two goals in the opening game of the 63-64 season . However the rookie's name was John Ferguson, and he went on to lead all rookies in scoring that year.
