Just thinking about the Price vs. Hala debates makes me laugh. Also the backlash when Halak was shipped off to St. Louis. Good times.

Habs eliminating Pittsburgh.

And then eliminating Washington.

I believed we were cup bound. We should have won it.

OH! The GDTs during the 2010 playoffs, against Washington. When Caps fans started calling the Habs "Crabs" and we all embraced it and turned it into a big joke.

Other way around. Habs eliminated the Caps first, then the Pens.

This series was something! Tomas Jagr, Crabs, the angry Caps fan .gif, etc. Good times!

Didn't exist either, but it's impressive how far back Usenet goes. You can go back to the mid-80's easily and read about people's lives in like 1984. Google Groups is a great reading ressource when you know what to do with its search engine.

I came to here from Usenet in 2005. Gotta say, a board offers so much more, usenet is severely antiquated.

One thing that changed greatly with the years, for the better, is that people spell a lot better now. I remember back then it was horrible, I don't know if us frenchies got better at english or what but it's a lot better than what it was when I came in.

I wish I had taken a picture of the number of users in darkest day in habs history...the police are at the airport.

bowling on the road trip

team had character, and, for me, the best time as a habs fan. hilarity everywhere during that year.

gorges captaincy.

darkest day in habs history. you cannot beat that year, was like days of our lives everytime you turned on the radio, t.v., or forum.

halak vs. price.

Hey Capitaine! I considered retiring, to be perfectly honest.

But I need money. So yes, I'll be back for more GDTs

No way that topic was only 9 pages. This isn't it.

I was a part of it and it was the biggest storm in a glass of water ever. And we all fell for it, I mean the speculation was INSANE.

The way the RDS guys were talking about it, you'd believe Mr. Beliveau was caught groping little girls.
