Just wanted to show you guys what some fans of other teams are saying on the prospects board about Kadri in the "Prospects you HATE to admit that you think will do well" thread:

A few of the Leafs guys... Kadri and Reilly specifically.

Kadri, hate him but he will do well imo. Every time I watch a Marlies game hes one of the best players on the ice.
I feel like Kadri would work really well with JVR on his wing, I'd really like to see it. I remember watching Kadri last year and in so many games, especially the Detroit game Kadri was creating so many scoring opportunities for guys, Lombardi in particular, but nobody could put them away. He needs to play with players who can finish and I think he'll really flourish.
That is my opening day lineup right there. But I would also get Brown in there for Steckel, with Steckel, McClement and Connolly rotating for the bottom 2 C spots.

The few games I saw him play I didn't think he looked all that good.
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. … The American Hockey League announced today that Toronto Marlies center Nazem Kadri has been selected as the CCM/AHL Player of the Week for the period ending Nov. 18, 2012.
Kadri tallied eight points (one goal, seven assists) and a plus-3 rating in four games last week, sparking the Marlies to a 3-1-0-0 record.
After picking up an assist in a 6-5 overtime win at Oklahoma City on Tuesday, Kadri tallied two helpers in Friday’s 6-3 loss at Hamilton. In Saturday’s nationally televised rematch with the Bulldogs, Kadri tied a franchise record with four assists – including three on the power play – and was named the game’s first star in a 6-1 Toronto victory.… read more

He was player of the month last year as well, but wasn't a PPG over the season (40 points 48 games).
He's streaky, get him on a hot streak and he'll help the team win.

using his big frame to create space and his skating ability to find open lanes to drive the net. He stands 6-3 and is a natural goal scorer with plenty of confidence.
He's a scout's dream in the way he prepares himself and plays an unselfish game, making smart decisions with the puck. With his bloodlines, he certainly understands what it will take to make it at the next level.
I hear Kadri's name in potential trade with Vancouver. If that happens I will be ticked off. He will be a good NHL player.
I think it depends on how well Kadri comes into camp. I think if he comes to camp and plays well he will stay, but if he comes in to camp and falters even a little bit I think he will be shipped out. I think Kadri will be a leaf this season and will play well. I also think a deal for Lou gets done without Kadri.
