Pavelec has been brutal this year in Europe, in the Czech league of all places too. They have no goaltending prospects either. They also have the most stuff that they could trade.

Yeah I was thinking about the Jets as a trade partner quite a bit before they re-signed Pavelec. Not sure what their plan is now, but they definitely have some pieces I'd be interested in.

I don't think that's entirely accurate, he wasn't "brutal" last season, he was inconsistent and played behind an incredibly shoddy defense. There were times he alone held his team together and times when he sucked. Lets be fair here.

True. But he was below average for sure. This season he had below .900 Sv% in the Czech league and I've seen the hockey there, it's not the toughest competition. If we're talking about Bryzgalov, then Pavelec probably makes sense too.

SN panel was talking about the Leafs not wanting to trade Bozak today on HC at Noon, because him and Kessel are best friends and Kessel would be "floored" if he left, and since Kessel is a UFA they won't want to upset him so maybe they will hold onto Bozak.
Then change Bozak to McArthur, both are rental's, both fill needs, and McArthur is a much better player
I don't see what need either Bozak or MacArthur fill to be honest.

I would be happy with that deal (that you mention) or Petrovic instead of Shore (or another prospect of that ilk) under the condition that we could get Weiss re-signed.

I like this a lot. Weiss is ideal. He plays centre and wing and also has previous chemistry with Booth. Not a fan of McFarland though maybe Petrovic instead?
