Just wanted to show you guys what some fans of other teams are saying on the prospects board about Kadri in the "Prospects you HATE to admit that you think will do well" thread:

Quote:
A few of the Leafs guys... Kadri and Reilly specifically.

Kadri, hate him but he will do well imo. Every time I watch a Marlies game hes one of the best players on the ice.

I think you may have missed the memo.

You see, Kadri is a weak, overrated dangling scrub, who will be lucky to centre the 4th line on a team in the Azerbaijani 3rd division.

I feel like Kadri would work really well with JVR on his wing, I'd really like to see it. I remember watching Kadri last year and in so many games, especially the Detroit game Kadri was creating so many scoring opportunities for guys, Lombardi in particular, but nobody could put them away. He needs to play with players who can finish and I think he'll really flourish.

Replace skeckel and lambo with komorav (sp?) and brown and we have a winner!

That is my opening day lineup right there. But I would also get Brown in there for Steckel, with Steckel, McClement and Connolly rotating for the bottom 2 C spots.

I don't think Frattin will be on the fourth line.

We have way too many wingers...

The few games I saw him play I didn't think he looked all that good.

His contribution: drawing a couple of penalties.

I don't know.

He's Vancouver's problem now.

Therein lies the problem. There were games this year where Eberle was invisible too.

For those making Kulemin and MacArthur linemates, Kulemin plays RW - always has when Mac is on the line.

Man our lineup is pretty soft, just looking at those ^ starting rosters. Add Brown, add some sandpaper.

He was player of the month last year as well, but wasn't a PPG over the season (40 points 48 games).

I hear Kadri's name in potential trade with Vancouver. If that happens I will be ticked off. He will be a good NHL player.

I think it depends on how well Kadri comes into camp. I think if he comes to camp and plays well he will stay, but if he comes in to camp and falters even a little bit I think he will be shipped out. I think Kadri will be a leaf this season and will play well. I also think a deal for Lou gets done without Kadri.

I hope kadri isn't traded. This training camp, him and frattin have to play some of their best hockey to knock off two people and get into the top 9.

First game back off an injury. Not making excusses, just a posibility.

It's likely that we'll need 'em this year. Depth is key in a short season. I'm ok with this.

could you space it out a bit more? It's hard to read all crammed together like that.

Prediction: Kadri plays 2nd pair defense.
