Yeah I was thinking the same thing sorta. I'm thinking Matthias is probably out long term. Since the injury was supposedly a concussion, that would make sense too.

I don't disagree at all but why not bring in a center or two? Perhaps they think Shore could compete for a spot? Camp should be interesting.
NOOOOOOOO. I have never liked AK, I hope he doesn't make the team. He is not Panther material, REALLY hoping he stays as far away from the Panthers as possible.

That's mostly a DUMB statement.
Good invite for you guys, I hope he makes the team. He could be a solid 3rd line winger/2nd line fill-in for the Panthers.

Don't be silly. If he's in shape I have no doubt we'd sign him to a reasonable deal.
Depending on salary and terms, I could see him being a good signing to use on the wing. He's gotten over fifty points twice in his career. He's dropped a bit over the last couple of seasons, but with 2nd line minutes, perhaps maybe he can retain that.
I'm really starting to warm up more to the idea of AKost making the team. Gives the team more flexibility in terms of its wingers both now while a few are injured and in the near future when guys start returning. Right now if I had to rate my preference for the guys coming to camp it would be AKost, Kovalev then Svatos (though Svatos if he agreed to a 2-way contract would definitely be better option than Kovalev).
I was hoping we would re-sign AK. He was tied with Erat for the most talented forward on our team last year. Really love his game, assuming he can play D and keep his head on straight. Rocket shot.
